Thanks for the post. Sucks that I bought this board about 3 days back, but I bought another one just now to be able to get in on the rebate. Guess I'll try to catch UPS to reject my original order.

I hope this is a good board!
Good Review: http://www.techspot.com/article/61-intel-p35-motherboard-roundup/
most could not boot under cold temperature (below 15-18 Cel. degree). due to the issues, abit received thousands of returns in north china. i hope to get version C, which version is with less issues. the cold boot problem could be resolved by removing a resistance near the 775 cpu slot easily, but it could result less OC ability.
Good review - esp as compares to pro version ($80 more now from ClubIT) -- I bought the pro -- has ide, esata, and config tools. seemed worth the extra $.
I like abit's design on motherboards. Everying is always layed out where it should be, no pulling cards out to reach the ram, or to plug in a cable... but the RMA part is true. I've a QuadGT that hisses under load like a sassy cat. I could RMA it and be without a motherboard for a month... or I could have them cross ship one if I sent them money as a deposit via paypal?!? They then refund most of it via a snail mail check weeks later. For a big company, their RMA process acts like a shady eBay seller.
EDIT: Looks like there may be some issues with the version 13 BIOS - LINK(this version has since been removed from offcial release) Doing further reading there is a version 14.5 beta out, and that may fix the version 13 problems. Full 22 page thread on the double boot issue is HERE
BIOS version 13 is available HERE. Flashing with this new BIOS will fix the double-boot problem.
What is the double-boot problem? The board will start up, then stut off. Three seconds later it starts again, while the hard drives are still spinning down. From there the system starts like normal. This is very hard on hard drives.
Johneverd said:BIOS version 13 is available HERE. Flashing with this new BIOS will fix the double-boot problem. DO NOT flash your IP35/IP35-E to this version. It was evidently confirmed by many (including yours truly) that this so-called 'official BIOS 13' release has nothing to do with the 13beta, which was genuinely coded for IP35-E while this version was completely something else. You are at your own risk to flash the wrong BIOS back to a normal version, esp. if you have screwed up the settings while attempting to overclock with this BIOS, and forget to do a hard CMOS clear and bring the system back to a stable state before re-flash.
The current consensus is that BIOS 13beta, 14beta and official 12 all work well. Among them, BIOS 12 has the best overclockability with optimized memory throughput but it doesn't support the HD-Audio feature. While 13beta & 14beta claimed to have fixed the double boot issue, there are reports indicating people still see double booting after a cold boot. The fault may not be permanently fixed by modifying the BIOS alone, as IP35/IP35-E don't have an initializer such as featured in uGuru chip (IP35 Pro has it) as well as many other overclocker boards, so it just flat-out reflects the usually "hidden" start-up procedure on board. BIOS 12 and beyond has all fixed the double booting from a warm boot (with the PSU never switched off.) So that's as good as it gets.

I'd like to get the IP35 Pro, but comments at the bottom of the review here say there are many problems with PSU incompatibilities with this board. Unless thats something they've recently fixed in a BIOS update?
UPDATE: Board does indeed have the double-boot issue. Not too bad of a problem, and it can certainly wait until a fast, stable BIOS release is available.
Clocked a Pentium Dual Core E2160 from 1.8GHz to 3.0GHz with little effort. Awesome deal at $67. Thank you OPie!!
A stable bios is out I'm using it on both my IP35 boards, just google IP35 double boot bios fix. Make sure you grab the right one for the IP35 or IP35-E. I got my IP35 for $120-25 rebate at Mwave.com got my Q6600 quad core there too for $269 it came with Quake Wars for free. Got 2GB OCZ at Fry's for $30 AR. got another 2gb it's good stuff. Running 4 Sata 300 drives in raid on it too, speedy speedy, OCed to 3.6 GHZ with a cheap $20 cooler from Newegg, MASSCOOL 8WA741 it works great.
BEST RAM you can buy though is Super Talent PC6400 2GB at Ewiz.com for $41 AR for 2GB it's MICRON D9 chips. I got 4GB of that too for my PC, we have 2 Q6600 systems in da house. I have an ATI 3870 coming from Dell when they come in.
