As we all know this darn thing went live in the night and fizzled fast. They pulled down the IR really early. Some are saying it was only up for less than 30 minutes back then.
However
ZZF did not pull the item. You could tell it still was in stock. They continued to show availability but at a higher price since there was no IR. It did not show "sold out" or "OOS". It just wasn't free.
I have been watching this, the PSU anyway, all day since early (about 5:00 AM). My watchfulness paid off about 30 minutes ago when, as I expected it would, the PSU IR went live again for the west coast morning crowd.
My take:
Unless it actually shows OOS it could go live again later today; do not know when that might be.
If you want a free PSU my counsel is to remain vigilant.
On the case, after having finished my PSU order, I was just plain lucky to see the post over at SD. I had to go back in and do a separate order for the free case, which I had NOT been watching. However, given the FS there was no penalty to me for this oversight and all went well.
This is a honey of a deal, that's all I can say. Sweet!

That's when I bought a PSU, about 1204. Lasted for all of maybe ten minutes and then prices jumped. Prices fixed now, but FAR PSU OOS... FYI... umm...DAN.
Don't feel too bad about the power supply being out of stock. It wasn't real efficient and would end up costing you money over time. Better to buy one that is at least 80% or better.

Yeah, I waited till 12:00 Am PST. I ordered at that moment and the price was right, but I got Paypal error, so at around 12:15 AM I tried to use IE intead, the price when back up to $70 (without the $20 instant rebate). Good that the deal I added using firefox is still there, after many paypal tried, I finally got the deal.
So they did change their price on time, just around the minute, some error came up. I guess thats why you didn't see the price change
My computer build: $220 after rebate....

Perhaps, because I didn't open a new window, instead I was refresing the same window all the time. Too bad to miss such a PSU, for I need to build 2 more computers. What a pity!

ZZF should get blacklisted for the trickery they have pulled last few days.
1. Bogus inventory numbers 2. Items go out of stock when FAR and magically become in stock the next day after rebate expires 3. Free Shipping promo ends much sooner that originally advertised 4. Price gets jacked up automatically to a higher than advertised price

for the rebate form, the only receipt i have of the transaction is the paypal email confirmation, and it doesnt list the individual items that i bought. it just says 80 dollars (total for case + psu).

According to ZZF's website, you can use one of two things for a receipt:
"Need a Receipt?
After clicking the "Submit Order" button on the final page of checkout, you will automatically be taken to a page summarizing your order. You may print out that page as a receipt.
You can view a summary of any previous order by entering the "Member Center" (via the Customer Service tab). Once inside, click on "Order Status/Tracking." "

i tried to called zipzoomfly, and as soon as you try to reach an operator, it says "all of our operators are currently busy" and directs you to leave a message. it does this right away, so that tells me that by default they have everyone redirected to voicemail and there is probably never a case when the operators AREN'T busy.
anyway, i hope i'm not the only one with this issue, cuz paypal has already charged me, but no case yet.

Your case most likely will arrive. But it will take time.

It takes some time for Fedex to make the shipment. Fedex tried the 1st time today but I wasn't home. Hopefully I will be able to catch them tomorrow. Just give them some time. Don't worry too much jignesh

Thanks man. Now there is an update on the tracking. I just started to worry because I read horrible reviews on zipzoomfly + saw the low reseller ratings + the fact that they marked it as "Shipped" when in reality it was more like "to be shipped" (Shipped to me is when the package has been handed off to FedEx) + when i called to inquire about it, their CS never picked up and always went straight to voice mail.
thanks everyone! my first purchase from zzz (and possibly my last) so that's why i didn't know what to expect.
How is this PSU? I have Q6600 is it safe to use? I also order Raidmax from Newegg. Which is better? Thanks.
