The $3.98 Wedding Crashers & The Notebook at Target was part of BF which was only good for Friday and Saturday. some info about The Golden Compass info |
Fixed link: I wonder if this offer will be at multiple stores like WalMart? Should be a fantastic film if half as good as the novels. |
I bought Notebook and Wedding Crashers (only FULL screen versions are on sale) from Target for $3.98 each with the movie tickets. |

The LOTR's are all the 4-disc OMG versions right? BB's site doesn't really say, but they look like it. |

fyi, for those of you who don't know, as I didn't until recently, this movie and the books are an "anti christian" series written by a good author(atheist I think) who likes attacking religion. I'm a christian and if you want to see the movie that's fine. I'd love to see it as I'm a huge scifi/fantasy fan, but I'm not sure I want to give my $$$ to their establishment. For those of you that weren't aware I thought you might like to know ahead of time. I've read this movie is a dumbed down version of the first book in the series. Who knows I may go to see it just for the heck of it since it does look kewl, but if your are a christian and plan on taking your kids, just know there's an anti christian theme. If your anti christian(or any religion) yourself thats fine, I don't mean to attack you, your intitled to your views. Otherwise this looks like a good deal, green 4 u. |
slicer69, thanks for the info. I do know in the past you could use the vouchers for ANY movie at the theater. I have never used the freebies for their pre-assigned movie. Just be polite at the theater and they really couldn't care less what you watch. As for CGI warrior polar bears? I saw the trailer up close when i watched Enchanted, no one in my party which included kids, were impressed. Enchaned, on the other hand, was cool! |

For those of you that weren't aware I thought you might like to know ahead of time. Why are Christians, who are supposed to have faith, so fragile concerning their faith? When I see religious movies such as the Ten Commandments or Passion of the Christ, I have faith that it will not change my beliefs that god is a fairy tale best left to preschool children. Perhaps Christians should strenghten their faith to match that of the unfaithfull. |
This is not about faith, its about if you are willing to knowingly support what you believe or disbelieve in. Matter of choice, not faith. |

Wow, I always wanted the extended editions, I own all the 'original' dvd releases (remembering that extendeds waited until christmas to be released following the sept-october normal release). Anyways, I actually loved Pan's labyrinth, and it also looks like the special collector's edition. So I picked up 4 =) 50 dollars after tax with instore backup, and I'll get the 4 tickets, and like others have said my theater will let you use them for any movie if you are polite and ask before attempting to use =) |

Why do people have to try and turn deal into religions debates...
