sounds like a butthurt 360 fan to me... Why are fanboiz always so mature and such paragon of virtues that makes me wish my kids would grow up to be just like them? Or not... |

Just to add fuel to the flame war... I've been in six different electronics stores in the past couple weeks. And of the six, only one of them had a working XBox 360 on display.. the rest were all showing the RRoD. Obviously, these machines are subject to extraordinary circumstances. But it's still an indication of how much of a mess Microsoft has created. And the continued success of the XBox 360 over the PS3 demonstrates how in the consumer's mind, long term reliability is much less important than having a better game library. |

Whenever I goto WalMart, Target, or Circuit City, the PS3 they have on display is locked up. Its funny how its usually on the game with the flying dragon. |

Microsoft has increased the warranty substantially, which means if the 360 breaks, they will give me a new one. Why should I worry about reliability when someone is willing to make me whole? On the other hand, the game library directly drives my enjoyment of the system. It absolutely makes sense to look at it over reliability in this situation. Edit: typo |

I went in to the Mt View CA WalMart and asked if they would match the WalMart web site's offer and 3 different people said no. One clerk in the electronics dept said that the website's package was just clearing out old (Zephyr) versions and that's why there was a deal. Wanting a Falcon console I declined to go for the offer. |

If they threw in the wifi adapter and left out the extra controller and bag, I might bite. I don't know why that sort of deal hasn't been offered yet. It's my biggest sticking point with the 360 (outside of the RRoD). |
