Anyone confirm if I could combine paypal payment with 30% off coupon? I could not find ways to put the 30% off coupon in the paypal check out page. Thanks

Thanks You can enter the code after you hit "continue" on Paypal checkout. Don't know if this is the best deal around, I might be interested if the price falls below $500.
for the specs, with no rebate, its a pretty decent deal. not a hot deal - but not a bad deal

I tried some of these configs. It includes a $100 instant rebate. So after adding this coupon it drops that rebate. So I am not able to get that final quoted price of 650. How did you get that.

For those looking for better than a medicore notebook this is the time to buy. You can grab a T7700, Vista Ultimate, 2GB, 160GB 5400RPM SATA, HD DVD Rom/DVD Burner, 128MB 8400, 12 cell lappy for about $1100 right now which is an absolute steal.

Bond007JB, does the "continue" button finish the whole payment process? Or does it redirect user back to the HP website and user can then finalize the payment process? Thanks!!

It kicks back to allow for entering coupon codes after filling in the paypal info.
Does anyone knows if this also works for the tx1000z (12.1")? I went all the way and logged in to PayPal until the confirmation page but did not see a place to enter the coupon.
Edit: It did work for the tx1000z. Thanks for the explanations. And yes, they do charge tax.

It seems that 30% coupon can not be combined with 100$ instant rebate! When I applied the coupon it gives me this warning: "We have compared the coupon submitted to the available instant savings and applied the best offer. Promotion rules allow only the coupon or instant savings to be applied to any item." In addition, I have called AMEX buyers assurance and they confirm that paying with AMEX through paypal does still extend the warranty.

I THINK they have a 12" intel in their business line. But of course it'll be much more expensive. just letting u know.

I also get the message that the coupon cannot be combined with instant savings. The m9000t desktop that I thought would cost $649 is now $823.

I am in the same boat too. I called HP.com & they said that the coupon is valid only on built-to-order laptops , and the earliest that they ship the "built-to-order" machines is Dec/6th.

That, and a school computer. I don't mind it being heavy so much; I'd rather have the larger screen
WHat is the major diff between Ultimate and Premium? Is it worth the upgrade for $99? For home hobby only.

You have to select what payment option you want and then it has a box for the coupon code. It's rather late in the process.

After you add to cart and click checkout, it brings u to Page 1: Payment options. Choose paypal, continue & log into Paypal. Page 2: You will see the 20% promo mentioned somewhere in the middle of this page. After you agree to paypal terms & conditions & ur payment choices, it will bring you back to the HP site. Page 3: Now, on the 2nd or 3rd section, u will see "Coupon Code: " & an Add button next to it. Add the NB3075 coupon here. It will recalculate and chuck the 100$ instant savings since that cant be combined w/ this. U will then have to continue w/ checkout. Page 4: The next page will have all this info again, but w/ ur paypal payment info filled in at the bottom and the 30% coupon applied. In my case, wierdly, it went back to 100$ instant savings. I just clicked on Shipping at the top of the page (which took me back to Page 3), reapplied the coupon (didnt have to go to paypal page again) & was back on this page. On the bottom of this page, theres a "Confirm Order" button or something to that effect. Page 5: Order Confirmation receipt.

just got my DV6500T (really cool laptop).
has anyone else noticed a small line (as if the plastic was bent) on the top of the laptop when you look at it at an angle? it is very defined and does not run the whole width of the laptop.
my OCD won't leave me alone until I'm convinced that it is not physical damage from shipment. thanks
