When I applied the coupon it gives me this warning: "We have compared the coupon submitted to the available instant savings and applied the best offer. Promotion rules allow only the coupon or instant savings to be applied to any item." In addition, I have called AMEX buyers assurance and they confirm that paying with AMEX through paypal does still extend the warranty. I also get the message that the coupon cannot be combined with instant savings. The m9000t desktop that I thought would cost $649 is now $823. |

I called HP.com & they said that the coupon is valid only on built-to-order laptops , and the earliest that they ship the "built-to-order" machines is Dec/6th. |

Was quite sore for having my Lenovo Y410 order for 657 (599+tax) cancelled by OD. But this is better. Yay. HP Pavilion dv2500t customizable Notebook PC * Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit) * Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7250 (2.00 GHz, 2 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB) * 14.1" WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800) * FREE Upgrade to 2GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm) from 1GB DDR2 System Memory (2 Dimm)!! * Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 * HP Imprint Finish (Radiance) + Webcam + Microphone * Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection * 120GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive * SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support * No TV Tuner w/remote control * 6 Cell Lithium Ion Battery This item ships free GN169AV 1 $999.99 $699.99 Summary of discounts for order XXXXXXXXX Instant discounts you received: $300.00 Coupon NB3075 Order subtotal $699.99 Shipping (Standard 5-7 Business Days) FREE NJ Tax $49.00 Grand total $748.99 So if paypal & FC (fingers crossed) both come thru, then 748.99 - 50 - 37.45 = 661.55. My canceled Lenovo was a 14.1" w/ 1.66 T5450, 2GB, 8X DVDRW, 160 GB HDD. This is a 14.1" w/ 2.0 T7250, 2GB, 8X DVDRW, 120 GB HDD. Think i came out ahead. Thanks OP!!! |

Where do you put the 30% off coupon code of NB3075? I cannot find any place to put in this code in the HPShopping site. |

cbhari said:Where do you put the 30% off coupon code of NB3075? I cannot find any place to put in this code in the HPShopping site. After you add to cart and click checkout, it brings u to Page 1: Payment options. Choose paypal, continue & log into Paypal. Page 2: You will see the 20% promo mentioned somewhere in the middle of this page. After you agree to paypal terms & conditions & ur payment choices, it will bring you back to the HP site. Page 3: Now, on the 2nd or 3rd section, u will see "Coupon Code: " & an Add button next to it. Add the NB3075 coupon here. It will recalculate and chuck the 100$ instant savings since that cant be combined w/ this. U will then have to continue w/ checkout. Page 4: The next page will have all this info again, but w/ ur paypal payment info filled in at the bottom and the 30% coupon applied. In my case, wierdly, it went back to 100$ instant savings. I just clicked on Shipping at the top of the page (which took me back to Page 3), reapplied the coupon (didnt have to go to paypal page again) & was back on this page. On the bottom of this page, theres a "Confirm Order" button or something to that effect. Page 5: Order Confirmation receipt. |
