I just pulled the trigger on this deal, seems pretty decent so I thought I would share for those looking to get the Xbox 360 Premium Holiday Bundle and Halo 3. Sorry for the repost on the Halo 3 Limited Edition.

It involves using Amazon and Buy.com

Halo 3 Limited Edition (Amazon.com) $49.99 free shipping & tax
Xbox 360 Premium Holiday (Buy.com) $334.99 free shipping & tax (with 15.00 off from 5% coupon)

Use this link for the Buy.com 5% off coupon up to $15.00, then search for Xbox 360 and add the bundle.

This would cost $59.99 + $349.99 and tax in store. With 7% tax the total comes to $438.68 opposed to $384.98 online, a total savings of $53.70.

May not be a very "hot" deal, but I think it's the best deal currently for a 360 and Halo 3.

Anyone know if these have the new processors and what type of DVD drive they have? I'm thinking about replacing my dying 360 with another one. Already got the RROD 5 times, and it still freezes maybe once a day, so who knows how long it'll last.

Try this link. Unfortunately, not very people have reported here after buying from Buy.com but it sounds like with the holiday bundle in general, it's a gamble whether you get Falcon vs. Zypher and what DVD drive you get.

By the way, if you don't care of HDMI, Overstock.com has it for $326 with an extra headset. Use the AmEx promotion for 10% off, and the Paypal 20% off promo (still works for Overstock, last I checked) for a grand total of $243.40 ($293.40 out of pocket - $50 paypal Cash Back in Jan). No tax (except Utah) and free shipping.

On every 360 console page on Overstock I was noticing they all had Refurbished graphics on the item pages for the Premium system.

They only have factory packaged units with HDMI OR Arcade, both which are not in stock.

Nice catch. I didn't see "refurbished" in the title for the one with the extra headset, like it does for the others, so I thought that was new. But you're right, once you go in, it does say refurbished under the picture. Whoops!

Oh, I almost made the same mistake and got excited when I was looking for a deal for my boyfriend...then saw the dreaded Refurbished word!

He should have jumped on the darn Amazon Gold Box price the other week when I told him too!

I notice near the bottom of the page it states:

FEATURES
HDMI Cable sold separately

However, this bundle is supposed to have the HDMI cable included. Can anyone who has received this confirm whether they got the cable or not?

If I'm not mistaken, the "HDMI" just means that it has an HDMI port. I believe it only comes with component cable.

You have to buy the HDMI cable with all of the "go pro" holiday bundles, it's just that they are HDMI capable now.

My boyfriend ended up using the Buy.com discount coupon and grabbing himself a console with that...really the best deal there is with no tax & shipping plus no waiting in cold.

It won't work cause I can only use it once. I think I wasted it on a 10 dollar memory chip. This Sucks!
