Edit: Never mind. I think I made a mistake. But OP, your computation is technically not correct. For one thing the paypal -$50 is after tax, and FatCash is after tax also... For my order it came out to be $769.99+$55.05(tax)=$825.04. After paypal and FatCash it will be $825.04-41.25(fc)-50=733.79 total. Thanks OP!
Edit2: Don't forget to upgrade to 2GB memory! Also remember to check the grand total at confirmation page, I had to go back and apply the coupon 3 times before it actually went through with coupon applied.
$680+ tax was mentioned, and your calculation was 733.79 with tax of 55.05 , hence with out tax will be 733.79-55.05 = 678.75 which is also the same as I mentioned. That's why I said "technically"... |

Still pretty good! |

Just an FYI that the existing cash-off discount and the 30% discount will not stack in your cart. 30% discount comes off non-discounted price. So, if you want to get the cheapest possible notebook (about $615 + tax), shoot for NON-DISCOUNTED price of $999: =$999 -$300 (less HP 30% coupon) =$699 +$50 (plus tax, for me in AZ is +$49.65 or 7.1%) =$749 -$50 (less PP 20% up to $50) =$699 -$35 (less FC 5%, which comes out to about -$34.95 for me) =$665 This INCLUDES tax for me, which is great. Of course, several upgrades are probably worth the extra $$$. Just wish the darned thing was lighter in weight. |
