I am looking for a 22" LCD. That's a good price, and the $20 MIR is not too much. Has anyone hear this brand? Any review?

Shipping is ~$16 and PC Club gets terrible ratings. I'd hold off.
The Chimei is a fine monitor, though. The display is as nice as any of the 22" LCDs with TN panels (all of them as far as I know), and although the case and stand are not particularly impressive, they get the job done. The monitor is very popular on Newegg, and mine had no dead pixels.
As an aside, the Chimei rebate process was rather interesting. After about 12 weeks I got a phone call (multiple phone calls, actually) from a very nice representative with a very thick Mandarin accent. She told me that she had mailed my check the previous week but it had been returned by the post office as undeliverable. She very kindly asked me to reconfirm my address and told me she would send it again. Sure enough, three days later I got it in the mail -- a hand-written personal check in a hand-addressed envelope. Wow. All in all, though, I can't complain. How many rebate processors would take the time to call you if your address bounced? And how many would call back two more times if you didn't pick up?
So Chimei gets green, but the deal gets red.

I have had a Chimei 22" monitor for over six months now and it is the best monitor that I have ever had. No dead pixels, great resolution and color. Chimei makes the panels for several other monitors.
