Yes, I'd like to know where you can find a 8GB e280 for $80. WalMart has the e260 is 98.
well, I guess my memory was a little too optimistic (I probably combined the refurb @ $60 w/ the new @ $90 from Costco to come up with my $80-ish recollection). You'll have to ask the FW red state voters for the justification of their voting carnage as I remained a neutral state, at least at the FW ballot box. *shrugs*

Yeah, good luck with that! I ordered the SanDisk e280 from Dell on 12/02/2007. It was a fabulous price and they said they'd ship it right out! But then I received an email confirmation that gave me a ship date of 12/17/2007 and a delivery date of between 12/20/2007 - 12/24/2007. Okay, that was cutting it close for Christmas, but we'd still be fine. Then on 12/17/2007, the DAY they were suppose to ship, we received notice that they wouldn't be able to SHIP until 01/07/2008 with a delivery date of 01/14/2008. There goes that Christmas gift! You know the old adage, "if it's too good to be true, it probably is?" That certainly applies here. They knew they didn't have this item in stock when they listed it on their website. They should have told us that before we clicked on "Bill my Credit Card." Two thumbs down to Dell. They've lost my business permanently. BOO ON YOU, Dell!

It's again available at Dell Home for $109 shipped + Tax, shipping date showed as 2/6.
