creasemonkey said: The 10% AAA coupon is no longer available for "non-members", so with tax it makes it about around $650. So NOT the "Best price ever!!"
So look at it as a free AAA membership and the opportunity to make more 10% off purchases at CC for the next year.
Too bad this doesn't seem to combine with the Discover Card DiscoverShop 5% discount any more....
Just got one for $578.90 after tax! Order online pick up in store. SWEET deal! No rebates, no waiting for shipping. Don't forget Fatcah. Also you may be able to use Discover card %5 back as well.

I searches discovercard.com. It seems the 5% is still valid if you go through discovercard.com. Not sure if you can combine it with FatCash.

I couldn't make it work. The coupon works fine if you don't go through dircovercard.com first. If you do, I get an error <5>.

Been looking a long time. This might get me to pull the trigger. I only want to body so I have to have it shipped home and pay tax so that blows the deal. If I get this as a kit and use AAA discount then it is roughly $542 with lens. Best price I have seen without lens is $544 at buydig. Lookout eBay, here comes another lens !!

Went thru the Discover card site and used their card so I could save another $25 !!! Went for instore pickup to avoind the tax (NH is just 10 minutes from me) Also grabbed the SanDisk 2g ultra 2 for $31. See what happens tomorrow

Best price ever on the XTi was the deal at Bel Air Camera 2 weeks back.
$499, no tax. Awesome.
I have to admit that for AAA members, this is indeed a good price.
For non AAA members, I would say Amazon.com's ever changing price could be one of the best. It was a shy over $600 this morning - like $601.95 or something. Probably still is.

how did u get both the AAA coupon n discover to work? Both those discounts need you to link to the CC website through their link.

Login through the discover web site and link through to Circuit City.
Start shopping, but before you add anything to your cart do the following:
1- open the email that contains your Circuit City AAA coupon.
2- right click on the 'shop now' button and select 'copy link location' (this works in Thunderbird, I don't know about other email programs. You may have to view the source of the message and find the link. It looks something like http://email.CircuitCity.com/W9RH015D70259A07586E4312345678 ).
Go back to the web browser where you have the Circuit City page open and past the URL.
I can only assume that the Discover stuff did not get deleted. I don't think it does because I did a similar thing back in August when I bought a TV from CC and it worked great.
In for 1... Just make sure you go into Circuit City knowing what you need... The 3 morons tried to convince me it took a SD card, and almost wouldn't sell me a CF because they knew it would not work in the XTi...
