The coupon code 30OFF will knock 30% of it. I was about to order it, but when I tried to use DivX to convert a VOB file, it says it needs a supported AC3 filter in my system. Any idea? I do have programs from doom9.org that enable me to convert AC3 files to MP3 files. Thanks Thanks, I actually found that coupon as well and used it to get the add-on. But I too am getting the same AC3 error. I guess I'll have to do some searches to see what "filter" needs to be used. Post if you find something! |

Post if you find something! You may already be aware but there is a free program called Gspot that is supposed to help with some of that. Here is a link to description and download. link Umm, nevermind, I think it is just useful on AVI files.

To convert DVD's into DivX/XviD just use a freeware program called AutoGK. Its really easy to use and you can customize the output quality: http://www.autogk.me.uk/ |

Is the key generic for this promotion or is it unique to every email you registered? I have a couple of computers, wondering if I need to get keys for every one of them. |

Thanks OP.... Just downloaded this one and used to convert .wmv in to .dvx the original file was 6247 mb and the converted one is 6258mb. I was under impression that .divx files are much more compact one. Guess I was wrong. On the side note if any one know any good program to convert .dat files in to divx or .avi format? Thanks.... |

for those who r new to this, I am using this from last promotion. it can even let you make a menu which is not available in many free softwares. I have no issues with any of the video files. vob/avi/dat etc. what u need is the right codec for it to decode. I neither had the ac3 problem. get K-lite media codec and that will solve many of the codec issues. however if u have a full dvd and want to convert only part of it, then this is not for u. it will convert the full dvd. it does support dual core. however it has only four options to convert. you do not have the option to set the different bitrates etc. |

Where do you enter the serial #? I just downloaded and started the Converter. Don't see the Enter Serial # button. Do we have to wait for 15 days for the trial period to get over and then enter the #? |

Anybody got a link or tell me where to find it?Click Checkout on this page (be sure the "Add the DivX Converter MPEG-2/DVD Plug-in for $9.99 ..." box is checked), then on the next page click the trash can to the side of "DivX Pro for Windows 6.7 ...". That will leave only the plugin in your cart. Be sure to add the 30OFF coupon so that you only pay $6.99. |
