I wish I could get excited about this but I've not seen anything remotely worth having (at Staples) since Black Friday. Their ads have been quite boring as of late.

Since this coupon is for BM only, you might be able to use it on some good clearance deals in store.

As long as it was a new truck and not a used one...up here in the rust belt we usually look for southern cars to bring up this way, how ironic!

there is always the buy at the kiosk with an online coupon(s) and check out with the 12% at the register.

I've got 2x $30/$150 that will still be good then, and add 12% on top will make a lot of things smoking hot.

I kind of like top posting as well but in a system like this where it indents quoted posts and inserts the "xx said:" header, posting above the old stuff really messes stuff up, especially when the convention is to bottom post. When one person does it the other way, it's impossible to figure out who said what.
Those of us who have been online longer than most of you have been alive, prefer the former.Guilty as charged .

Has anyone posted the 1/20 circular yet? I found it at my local store but don't want to bother with it if it's already been done.

billrubin, if you work at a US company, most employee replies business emails in that way. It's VERY common. You receive business emails. You have to reply. and your reply is ALWAY on the top (and the replies eventually roll up longer & longer).

the BOTTOM post, I believe, is only popular at FW.

Actually, the bottom post reply style is and was the de facto standard going back to the ARPAnet and Dialup BBSes.

I have no doubt that top reply is more common for the johnny come lately corporate entities to cyberspace.

Not picking on anyone.... top posting ONLY came into effect when microsoft started doing email.... they put the LATEST message at the top!!!

However, in INTERNET thread postings, it is still BEST PRACTICE to put your message at teh bottom (ESPECIALLY when quoting), so other can read through the repeat QUICKLY, then scan your NEW info...

and +++ to BR, for joining us in BOTTOM POSTING!!! LOL!

post it!
thanks.

I'll bring it to work tomorrow and see if I can scan the pages in their original size. It's easier than scanning each page in two pieces as I'd have to do at home.

Well you might have been alive longer, but that doesn't mean you've been online longer. For some of us, learning to use Prodigy was happening at the same time we were cracking open encyclopedias to learn about our state's history. Prefer what you want to prefer, but don't make assumptions based on age alone, especially when you have no clue how old any of the people you are referring to are.

Can you use coupons that state online or phone only at the in-store kiosks? I want to do the same thing you're thinking of doing but my coupon is not good for in-store.

I have done that... ordered at the kiosk, then taken the receipt to register, then used 12% off with no problem

I'll gamble and ask this question since I need this link as an example. Lately many of the links in FW postings have not been working for me and i suspect it may be my laptop that is not working correctly since no one else posts that the link is not working. when i click on this link (and many others) firefox opens a new page but the page never fills with the information. the link appears in the bar at the top but nothing else happens no matter how long i wait or if i try to refresh. trying to open it again makes no difference either. I am having this happen more and more often of late with more and more links. Can anyone offer a (legitimate) suggestions for what i can check to try to resolve this? I would be grateful for any help. thanks.

Spybot does that by modifying the HOSTS file to point a bunch of domains to localhost so nothing comes up. Try temporarily renaming your WINDOWSsystem32driversetchosts file, reboot and try again. If links work, that's your problem. The specific problem domains are in a post over in the FW forum.

Can you tell us if there are any good deals and/or FAR items?
