Small world. I live in Florida. I have been to NY one time in my life. I went to Victor, NY to buy a new truck three years ago.

billrubin, if you work at a US company, most employee replies business emails in that way. It's VERY common. You receive business emails. You have to reply. and your reply is ALWAY on the top (and the replies eventually roll up longer & longer).
the BOTTOM post, I believe, is only popular at FW.

Well, i wonder what the manager at the store and the clerks there will think when they see you buying another computer and a whole buncha software, "Wasn't the first $800 you spent on that enough? Why do you need a second copy of each?" Hopefully, they will put the 12% off also on the computer, hey, it has happened.

Actually, the bottom post reply style is and was the de facto standard going back to the ARPAnet and Dialup BBSes.
I have no doubt that top reply is more common for the johnny come lately corporate entities to cyberspace.
Those of us who have been online longer than most of you have been alive, prefer the former.
In any event, there's no need to fight about it. To paraphrase the great anti-Apartheid activist Steven Bantu Biko, write how you like!

What do you mean "Technically, no", silly? It should have been "Technically, yes." since the system will take the 12% associate discount and any other valid coupon together, silly. GO BUCKS

In the past, some of the stores won't do it.... or they take you $$ off first then apply the 12%... and I live in Ohio... I just know which store to go to and if the cashier says no, then ask to talk to a manager..
For some reason, if you use 2 coupons, they don't know how to handle it... what I have ended doing is using the 12% then say... oops forgot I also have this...

Coupon says not good on pc's. Add the FAR printer and see what happens. The employee putting in the coupon as 12% will probably get a message not acceptable on the laptop or it may not compute the savings on it. (pc) You could try and maybe get a manger to overide it.
One ploy to try is, ask any employee if you can use the 12% on todays purchase, get them to commit without even looking in detail at the coupon, then when turned down at the register call over the guy that said the coupon is good. Then call the manager.

wow i never thought of that. did this ploy work for you? but itd be ymmv at different locations?
RE: did this ploy work for you?
Yes 2 times and 2 times it worked. Though I was given store credit.
