Just curious. When you say "not good", do you mean not good for gamers or not good for all. Paraphrased, I am not a gamer, I use mostly IE, Word, Picasa, etc. Would this be a "good" card for me in lieu of the 64M onboard video that I use now? Do you think I'd see a noticeable performance increase. Or is it too hard to know without looking into a bunch of other variables specifit to my hardware?
I know this is not exactly on topic, but it's a good change for me to get straight on this.

RichIt's certainly a step up. But before you pull the trigger make sure your mobo supports PCIe instead of AGP.
must hack the card to not try to turbocache. most every low priced (<$100) will turbocache and slow down the system. heck my 8600GT OC tried in vista; dropped like .2 points on system score. lame.
