Looks like processor is sole core....never heard of this processor much...does anyone know anything about this???/i saw same deal few days back with core2dual processor...now do not know if this is better deal or not

BIG Thanks to the OP, My wife's been wanting a d420 for quite some time, and I was able to score a for around $850(tax included). BTW the free 3 year warrenty made this deal HOT!

did anyone who got a D620 notice the problem of the display?
it looks awful, so grainy, no matter how I adjust the settings.
other than that, the laptop is very good.
but, isn't the display one of the most important part of this machine?

You should have read this thread (and the one on SD) carefully. The LCD on the D620 was mentioned as a major problem.

I've used my d420 for a few days now and LOVE it. I know the hard drive is slow, but you can't have everything, especially at the price i paid (730). Very high quality notebook. Made in Ireland

I've also read that about the d620. One reason i went for the d420. Display most important part of any system. Send it back if its too bad.
