This is a good deal on a good phone set. I bought the 3-handset set at Sears back in December when they had that on sale for $80. I've been very happy with the performance thus far. crystal clear, good range, intercom between handsets (you can 'call' a particular handset to intercom with, it doesn't have to ring ALL the handsets), nice big buttons, good speakerphone on the handsets, supports up to a max of 6 handsets on the system.
I believe that it is available at local Costco at the same price $99.
I've been watching for a good price on these, thanks very much! Green for you.
Nice, these look just like my Panasonic 5.8's except these are DECT (obviously) and silver (mine are black)...I've been very happy with my 5.8's so far, so this is probably another great setup. Hopefully by the time my 5.8's start dying I'll be able to pick this system up for peanuts ![]()
Nice find! Green for you OP.
These are one of the top-rated DECT phones by a recent Consumer Reports issue.
The 3-handset version - KX-TG1033S - is on sale for $79.99 (reg $99.99) at Radio Shack until 01/19/08.
every so often, the 4 handset one with base keypad goes on sale for $109...the extra $10 is well worth it...
I picked one of these up at my local Sam's Club. It was interesting that one club had it for $114 as mentioned, but the one I picked it up at had it for $98.77.
If you are a Ford Employee or Retiree you can pick it up from Panasonic Direct for $93.00 through their website.
I picked up the black version at my Costco yesterday for the same price (plus tax).
Just a word of caution. I almost bought this set when shopping for a DECT 6.0 combo at Costco, and fortunately I realized the keypad is NOT lit. That was a deal-breaker for me, and if you care about that detail, then be fore-warned!
I got DEC 6.0 pair for 19.99, free shipping, no tax at Frys before Christmas.
bought this on black friday from Staples for $49.99. I like how you can call any headset in your house,
just pick up the phone and push intercomm button and choose from 1-4 and it dials ![]()

Uh, no you didn't. That was a 2.4GHz phone set
This is DECT 6.0, apples and oranges.
SOLD OUT
Questions for those having this phones. I am using the Uniden unit and it has these features. My phone is dying and I want to replace them, but these features are important to me.
Thanks in advanced.
Does it have the phone book transfer capability? i.e. copy phone book from one handset to another.
Does it have the room monitor feature? i.e. leave one handset in the baby room and use the other to monitor that room
Does it have USB connection for download/uploading phone book, setup, etc.?

Guess you won't find out now, it's sold out. Pull the trigger first, ask questions later.
Anyway for your first question, yes, your second question, I think so, and your third question, if it's like my 5.8's, then no.
Usually available at my local costco for the same $99 price.
Own these and am generally happy with them. Much better reception than phones that operate in the 2.4 MHz band, which is also shared by wifi and microwave oven.
