Hope you didn't opened the box, cuz BB will charge you a %15 re-stock fee.
Use coupon, buy brand new one, take new item & old receipt, and return it.

No, if it's within 30 days, they do a return/repurchase on paper, using your receipt. Just did it last week with a coupon. And plan to do it tonight for the Rockband I bought last night. Too bad it won't worh on the PS3 I bought last night.

Is this new? Are you sure? I buy at BB because they don't have the rediculous re-stocking charge the way CC does. One reason why I think CC is less competitive and losing money with a less consumer friendly in store policy like that to discourge conspicuous inpulse consumption...

How does this work with the DirectTV/HD-DVD/Home Audio discounts? Could I take a $999 TV, use the 10%/12%, and then apply the HD Advantage discounts on top of that?

Just make sure the serial number from the first unit isnt printed on the invoice. Using it to return the new one you just bought.

Will the 10% one work for "Rockband" bundle?
I tried this two weeks ago with the last 10% coupon and it didn't give me the discount. The cashier took it to the manager and the manager said no. They consider it "hardware" I guess.
Bastiches. Oh well their loss. Guess I'll be getting my Rock Band from Costco instead then.
Wouldn't hurt to try... could be a YMMV thingie.

If a TV was purchased on Monday, any way to get this discount to work, i.e. low price guarantee or whatever?

I dont think one customer shopping elsewhere is going to be their loss, although I do see your point

Anyone use the 10% on a washer or dryer? it says Major and small appliance but then lists vaccums and microwaves, none of which is considered Major.

i tried to use this on the westinghouse 46inch 1080p tv, its on sale for 1300...but the cashier wouldnt let me use the coupon because it says 'markdowns taken from regular prices'
i know my friend got the 42inch when it was on sale for 900 then used the coupon to bring it down even more...

Unless a best buy worker is new or highly inept they won't stack this coupon on something thats already discounted, since they are in fact supposed to ask a manager (who will know better) before doing a manual override. GL though.
To the poster who is asking about the appliances, yes the coupon (12% not 10% if u have a free rewardzone card) will work on all major appliances. One thing to keep in mind however is ABT will often have prices on both washers and dryers that are more then 12% less then best buy, and since they have B&M stores, Best buy will price match. Keep this in mind and price match as least one since this coupon is only for 1 item, and if you don't get both the washer and the dryer on the same receipt you don't get free delivery. Also the "gas installation" they will try to sell you is a scam, since you are paying $90 (you can abt pricematch down to $50) but basically all they are doing is shutting off your gas valve and disconnecting the gas line from the dryer.

To be a Best Buy rewards zone member do I have to pay to get it?
I went and bought a Nikon D80 on 1/17/07 the sales clerk tried to scan it it didn't work... so don't know why but they manually override it. anyways I got it listed price was $1199.99, got it for $1055.99 with the 12%.
