To all those who are saying this is the OC version, well you are wrong... MSI makes two 8800GT and they are:
NX8800GT-T2D512E http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=NX8800GT-T2D512E&class=vga
NX8800GT-T2D512E OC http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=NX8800GT-T2D512E_OC&class=vga

Wrong, this is only 600Mhz - see MSI web site. "NX8800GT-T2D512E OC" is the P/N for 660MHz
Many card makers are overclocking their cards in the factory and the cards that fail the OC are sold as cheaper standard clock cards.

It doesn't matter that it is 256-bit memory interface because it compensates with greater strength in other areas.
For instance it has 754 million transistors - way more than the 8800GTS.

Actually, the 8800GTS has more transistors than the 8800GT. About 800M from what I remember
If you missed the deal and you want something similar, you can try the 8800GTS series (320MB edition) for around $200AR at TD

when i worked at best buy, the MSRP usually had about 30-40% factored in on video cards, like I bought a 350 dollar BFG 6800GT OC for 265ish before tax. So deals like this can definitely happen and still make the shop some profit that offer it.
