Just got this at my local Worst Buy in Braintree, MA was on display for $386 , I thought it was a price mistake but rang up for $386. Not a return , not a Refurb. It is Brand new in the box never opened.
Specs ULV Pentium 800Mhz,1gb memory , 40GB hard drive, 7" screen Windows Vista Home Premium .and the sales guy said it has the GPS Software already installed but not the GPS Hardware. SKU 8404363

Get them while they are in stock Not on the Best buy website
1 in the system in East Hanover, NJ....but it's a system error
this price is nationwide....that is confirmed

You get a job at best buy and when someone calls in with a good deal you say.. "oh, that is a good deal but all the ones here are uhhh,.. on hold for um... some guy."

I got one at bestbuy in Costa Mesa. They have one left and they said it was on hold. It was funny to hear the bestbuy guys say this to each other. "You better buy it now or more customer will go in and ask for it. One already ask for it already."

For Sunnyvale at least, the computer was correct some time before noon. I got there literally a minute too late. As I walked to the computers section, an employee had pulled the last 2 Q1U's out of the cage for these two guys. Oh well, them's the breaks.

Simple, get a job there.
Anyways, I nabbed the last one in Sac Valley at the Vacaville, CA store. Display unit $386 with 10% off ($347.92 plus tax). After they started unhooking it three employees tried to stop the purchase, but I knew the lingo "last unit in the market with the item fully cleared out."
Now to put Leopard on it...

Smokin hot deal. Went the the OP store and out of stock. Out of stock in the whole state of MA.
I was there about 12:25. Missed it by a few minutes. I came there at 12:13. I bought only one. I am pretty sure the employee bought the others. I told them the SKU number and they was all suprise and say where did you get this number? I told him i want to buy the Q1 and he was like you know about the price drop too?
Don't be too disappointed if their system shows inventory at your local store and there's none there. I just checked in three stores here where they show some but no go. They all said that they'd had a display a while back but that it had been gone for a long time now too.
Good deal if you can find one.

I've noticed that there is a $50 rebate for this from various merchants. Has anyone been able to find one for Best Buy?
