**OUR SHOPPING CART IS TEMPORARILY DOWN** Please bare with us as we are currently updating our inventory counts. We will not be taking any new orders to ship next week 2/4/08. However, we intend to have our shopping cart system back up and running on Thursday, February 7th, 2008. Any order that comes in 2/7 or 2/8 will be shipped the following week. |

The shopping cart is probably down on purpose. They ran out of meat, so they're out calling neighbors and friends looking for any meat they can ship to these FW'ers! "Hank...i need some meat!" ... "All i got is horse!"... I'll stick with good 'ol Wisconsin CWD venison meat |

Me too, Thank God I saw that before I put my order in. You would have to be an Idiot to buy Raw Meat from a company that is going out of business AFTER an E Coli contamination.
I disagree. Any mass producer is going to sell beef with E. Coli contamination. If you don't assume that when you eat beef, you're playing Russian roulette.
I eat beef regularly. To eliminate the risk, handle it properly so you don't cross-contaminate your entire kitchen/family. Cook ground beef until the juices run clear. A rare steak is fine - as long as the surface reaches proper cooking temperatures, you've got nothing to worry about. Ground beef is a problem because E. Coli can be mixed all through the burger, justifying the need to cook it throughout. "A rare steak is fine - as long as the surface reaches proper cooking temperatures, you've got nothing to worry about." Incorrect - Rare steaks still contain blood. Blood harbors contaminants that are in the animal. You may stop E Coli, but what about other contaminants? Meat must be cooked until blood is removed. |

Please post your references.
"post your references???" I didn't realize this was English class.
Off the top of my head, I'd say his reference is the World Wide Web.
That being said, google it, and you'll come across results similar to these.
No thanks necessary; I enjoy helping, one lazy FW member at a time! So asking someone to reference the places they found information about the subject matter is some how improper? So we should not include links to deals anymore or other important news for others to read? Who are you to pass judgment and make the rules? I think you need an English class, since you can not reference the entire World Wide Web as a source. Also, we do not need you to tell us "that being said", since we just read it. Unless you are patting yourself on the back, you must be dreaming. |
