Is this a legit rebate? I do not see it when purchasing the airhog filter on teh Amzon website. The old one had 2 pages on it. When printed it looks aweful. ?? |

Give me a break. Just because their not "high end" doesn't make them crap. The air hog line filter just as well as any. I've torn down many a intakes and the results are almost always the same - if ya don't change ANY filter once in a while, you're asking for trouble (ounce of prevention, you know). You want to pay more, go ahead but you're wasting $. Racing is a different animal gear heads so don't rationalize my point, please. This is becoming mantra here - "Gotta love free" folks. |

bobo809 said:These "cotton" filters have very poor filtration efficiency. It's ok if you want to squeeze every HP out of your engine, but it's not a good idea if longevity of your engine is your concern. They do provide more airflow due to less restriction, but less restriction means less protection for your engine. Afterall, the filter's function is to protect your engine from small airborne dust particles, which can cause wear on your engine. The lubricating oil film thickness is on the order of 1 to 2 micrometer, and your filter needs to remove particles larger to protect the engine. These "screens" are so open that they can't effectively stop very fine particles. Got link? |

Some of the Air Hogs do not show the rebate link. I guess not all of the filters are valid? The form does not disqualify some filters. Also says, name of store....id this valid for other retailers? I checked the Fram website, no mention of rebate. |

Frams website is the biggest POS I have ever been to. The navigation is worse than poor and you need to input a Fram part number to find out the correct Fram part for your vehicle....STUPID |

Don't use Firefox, use IE, and it will work ok. But only use IE this one time, then go right back to Firefox. OK? |

Frams website is a joke. I can't find where I suppose to go to search for the filter# for my car. -edit- found a compatible part# using Amazon's system. PPA7365. Price is $34.49 plus $5.50 shipping. Not free for me and I'm not spending $20 after rebate for it. |
