That was also the exact wording on the rebate form that was valid 2/1/07 - 12/31/07. It was also a printable PDF from Amazon.

It does look like they are denying any responsibility with mfr rebates.

In the past, I have disputed Visa charges based on denied rebates. In every case, if the merchant advertised the 'after rebate' price as being the final price, the dispute was approved.

For the filters I ordered, Amazon is providing the rebate form & advertising the final price as $-5.96

Example:
List Price: $17.91
Price: $14.04 & eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25. Details
You Save: $3.87 (22%)
Rebate: $20.00
Price After Rebate: $-5.96

 

Save PDFs or printouts of all related screens & you will get your money, one way or another.

Has anyone just sent the rebate application with the Fuzzy form? Will that be good enough to get our rebate ? I have called Amazon many times they are not helping on the form, they say the form is theirs.

I bought two last time, can I do this one too?

I don't think you can clean or wash the Fram brand. You can only wash the K&N filter but not the Fram, that's why it's cheap because disposable.

I prefer K&N filter but this Fram will come handy too while the K&N is out for cleaning.

Well I'm impressed, got the following email from customer service stating I'm in the system for $40:
