Free inkjet cartridge refills at Walgreens on 4/2/08. ONE DAY ONLY! They don't refill any epson or canon cartridges, but they do fill a good number of lexmark, HP and Dell. Call your local Walgreens to find out if they fill your cartridge. You get 1 color OR black free refill per person

My daughter works at Walgreens and verified this

Thanks, I refill my ink there all the time now.

Is there a coupon or anything needed or do we just walk in and ask for a refill?

Is there a list of which cartridges they are willing to refill? Last year, there was a list!

I did this last year and there was a coupon with the weekly Ad but it was readily available. Due to to enormous response, it took over 24 hours to get the ink refilled. They quoted me a day & then I had to come back later when they could catch up. Free ink is a good thing so I did not mind.

They normally charge $10 for black & $15 for color ink cartridge refills for HP & Lexmark.

woow that happens to be my Bday

Thanks, Farside!

Thanks for the info!

I have Epson but I gave you green since this is hot.

thanks for the post

guess give them another try for free, only time i used them (paid) it was worthless, black ink was gray and lasted only a few pages.

thanks for the heads up OP!!
another greeen for you..

Thanks. Does anyone know the average price for a refill there?

ANSWER: Normally $10-15 for Color Ink and $5-10 for blank ink.

I have a Lexmark x2580 All-in-one printer. It uses #2 color and #3 black inkjet cartridges. But none of them on Walgreens' refill list.

Score, If mine will refill! Thanks OP!

Walgreens also doesn't refill Canon ink. Does anyone know if the Office Max ink refill does?

Check the weekly Walgreen's ad today (3/30) for the printer cartridge refill coupon. You can pick up the ad in most stores. Just be sure to check if your store does the refills (at the photo counter) since not all the store are setup to do this. Last time, it took several days to turnaround the refill since they were swamped and it was a new process.

I heard that there was an ad in the Sunday Parade magazine too. My black cartridge is running low and I hope I can make it until then!

That last time that I did this on the free refill day it took a long time and when I did pick it up they told me that it didn't work and that they threw out my cartridges. I was really mad! They could have at least kept them to show me that it didn't work.

Anyway, I complained to the head office via email and they contacted the store manager who promptly called me to apologize. He offered to replace the two cartridges with two brand new ones which I thought was very nice. So if you have a problem, make sure and speak up!

I refilled my black cartridge about 2 months ago. Used it lightly, it's already empty now...

I wish I knew about this earlier, I just refilled my color cartridge for $16.xx fom them a week back! But at least I now can do my black cartridge again.

I use Lexmark #32, #33 cartridges. The thing I'm curious about is do they really fill it right up? Lexmark has "High Yield" cartridges (#34, #35) which basically is the same cartridge, just with more ink added. I was wondering had I bought these cartridges, and wanted a refill later, will they fill them up to the "high yield" ink levels?

I've meant to get my ink refilled a few times last year when this promo was offered but i always forgot. I went in today and i was told that it will take 3 weeks before i get my cartridge back? Is that the case in other cities too? In in Toledo, Oh. It didn't matter to me much because we have another printer we've been using.

I have question, one coupon for one cartrige?? i have 2 color and black.

It depends on the store. Some stores will let you redeem more than one and others will only let you redeem one coupon. Also, if you need more coupons there are always more in the in-store sales circular.

They dont refill Brother as well. Just returned from the store...

I dropped off my color cart this morning about 8:45 AM. The clerk gave me a claim check to come pick it up tomorrow after 1 PM. I thought this would be done right away

nice! thanks

Right.

NO EPSON, CANON or BROTHER.

I dropped off cartridges at two different stores - one store quoted Sunday pickup and one store quoted Thursday pickup. I didn't need a coupon as they had a coupon to scan at the register.

Dano

does this clog up the cartridge?

brought in Lexmark #31 and #35 today, they don't do #31, so I dropped of #35 only.
just checked there website, #31 is on the list, not sure why they don't do it for me at the store.

They are supposed to be pretty fast under normal circumstances. With the free coupon, they are getting hammered.

I heard this on the radio yesterday and dropped off a HP color last night, we'll see how it works out. Not sure based on the sporadic reviews but we'll see since its free.

They told me to come pick it up on 04/09. I thought it is being sent to be refilled but they told me they do it right there. A week to refill a cartridge?????

They must be using droppers to fill it up.

I was told 4/11 due to the overwhelming demand with the coupon. It's no problem for me since I don't need it right away anyway.

The guy at our Walgreens seemed unhappy and said they had over 200 to refill due to the free offer.
He said to come back in 4 days.
No problem for me if it's free!
