gonna check out the WD at a local store. But stores in san diego hardly ever have these sales, everytime I go in they're full price. But I want a HDD for my PS3. |

You can really install this 2.5" HDD in a desktop without any new wiring? Desktops use 3.5" HDDs, wouldn't you need an adaptor to make these 2.5" notebook HDDs work in a desktop? Is this low price for these only shown at the register or actually written on the product at the shelf??? Early morning, need to go to sleep now. But I'd better head to my BestBuy later today, website shows both are in stock at my store! |

All of the 2.5"/3.5"/5.25" SATA interface are identical. Buy one and you will see. If you are asking about PATA/IDE drives, then that's a whole different story. |

Early morning, need to go to sleep now. But I'd better head to my BestBuy later today, website shows both are in stock at my store! The only thing you would need are mounting brackets and a SATA power adapter if your PWS doesn't have one
