ThankYou said:kimgkimg said:Thanks OP in for a couple! Weird thing is that no all the BB stores have the $29 price. (I know I committed a cardinal sin, but I had to call...) You're an idiot. QFT! Go into the store and do an RSS query. All you did was notify the BB employees |

All you did was notify the BB employees Being a lazy ass and calling the store versus going to the store and having a CSR do an RSS query are vastly different. A BB CSR can easily lie to you over the phone, but they're going to have a much harder time doing so while I'm looking at the screen over their shoulder. |

Hmmm... I could use that SATA drive fro my PS3 is I can get it for $30. Looks like it has a 3 year warranty. I personnaly prefer seagate drives. But for $30 it's hard to pass up. |

smartfrog said:I just bought WD 120GB 2.5" SATA driver for $22.99 at BestBuy, I aslo got the seagate 160GB 2.5" Ultra ATA/100 driver for $27.99.
here is the SKU: 8353658 WD 120GB 2.5" SATA 8004465 seagate 160GB 2.5" UATA Checked the store in Watertown MA. No 160GB WD seagates (despite the on-line stock check) but they did have a bunch 5ish of 120gb satas at 57.99. I bought a WD 120gb 2.5 IDE at $60 hoping it might come down further in the next 30 days... might have been dumb, but I need a 2.5 IDE happy hunting! |

smartfrog said:... a lot people post that they got those drivers ... Dude, why do you keep calling them "drivers"? I can't get the BB site to recognize the SKU numbers, so I'm assuming they've taken them down because of a pricing error. |

In Staten Island, The WD was $58, the Seagate was $83. Both had yellow clearance price sheets. Maybe in a couple of days they'll go down... but the staff is very sneaky, I think I'll just buy them themselves if the price ever drops to OP's level. |

Atlanta BB had the Seagate 160GB UATA for $45.99. Got the last 2. No WD 120GB SATA to be found. BB showed stock for both when I checked at 9:30, and I was there at 10:10am. |

Wow. the price is so different. Our local BB has tons of these two drives. Seagate 160 GB UATA is $27.99 (but listed as $83.99). WD 120GB SATA is still $56.99. Wait to see if it will drop to $22.99. |
