ThankYou said:kimgkimg said:Thanks OP in for a couple! Weird thing is that no all the BB stores have the $29 price. (I know I committed a cardinal sin, but I had to call...)
You're an idiot.

QFT! Go into the store and do an RSS query. All you did was notify the BB employees

Being a lazy ass and calling the store versus going to the store and having a CSR do an RSS query are vastly different. A BB CSR can easily lie to you over the phone, but they're going to have a much harder time doing so while I'm looking at the screen over their shoulder.

Hmmm... I could use that SATA drive fro my PS3 is I can get it for $30.

Looks like it has a 3 year warranty. I personnaly prefer seagate drives. But for $30 it's hard to pass up.

smartfrog said:I just bought WD 120GB 2.5" SATA driver for $22.99 at BestBuy, I aslo got the seagate 160GB 2.5" Ultra ATA/100 driver for $27.99.

here is the SKU:
8353658 WD 120GB 2.5" SATA
8004465 seagate 160GB 2.5" UATA

Checked the store in Watertown MA. No 160GB WD seagates (despite the on-line stock check) but they did have a bunch 5ish of 120gb satas at 57.99. I bought a WD 120gb 2.5 IDE at $60 hoping it might come down further in the next 30 days... might have been dumb, but I need a 2.5 IDE

happy hunting!

I think I'll see if there's some remote chance that this is still alive. What's an RSS Query, btw?

Thx.

Dude, why do you keep calling them "drivers"?

I can't get the BB site to recognize the SKU numbers, so I'm assuming they've taken them down because of a pricing error.

120 gb is 114.99 at Baton Rouge store. Man this is exactly the deal i've been waiting for too!

In Staten Island, The WD was $58, the Seagate was $83. Both had yellow clearance price sheets. Maybe in a couple of days they'll go down... but the staff is very sneaky, I think I'll just buy them themselves if the price ever drops to OP's level.

$68 for the 120gb in Lansing, MI. They didn't have any of the 160gb in stock.

My local store has the price as OP posted, crystal lake, IL

Is this deal dead by now?

!60G Seagate 8004465 is $84 (no list price on self <was on a free agent price label>, scanned $84) at Mayfield Hights, OH.

Did not see WD 120G on shelf.

My local BB has WD Ultra ATA 120GB 2.5" (SKU 7955304) on sale for $22.99. The SATA drive is priced at $56.99.

The seagate 160GB has the $47.99 price.

RSS said they had 4 of the 160gb pata in poughkeepsie ny, was only able to find 2 of them @ 29 each. the 120gb sata's are still $69, but plenty in stock. wait to see if they drop in the next week or two

Atlanta BB had the Seagate 160GB UATA for $45.99. Got the last 2.
No WD 120GB SATA to be found.
BB showed stock for both when I checked at 9:30, and I was there at 10:10am.

Wow. the price is so different. Our local BB has tons of these two drives. Seagate 160 GB UATA is $27.99 (but listed as $83.99). WD 120GB SATA is still $56.99. Wait to see if it will drop to $22.99.
