The CVS site shows:

"The CVS/pharmacy Online Photo Center is a separate Web site and will require a separate Login and Checkout from other CVS.com transactions.
For orders under $5.00, a $1.49 service charge will apply."

Will they charge the $1.49 for any amount of free photos?

No, I just picked up my free prints and $0 out of the pocket.

Got 30 free prints after sign in. And get another 15 prints after order 1 print(in-store pickup)
$0.00 out of pocket.

Thanks OP

Only got 50 free prints.

Only got 20 when I signed up.

Used them right away. Terrible quality from CVS.

The photos were horribly cropped. There was no way to preview how they would look either.
Good thing they were free, I wouldn't have paid for them.

There's a reason why the words 'Drugstore quality' exists. I would never print my photos at CVS, RiteAid, Walgreens or any of these 'convenience' stores. They don't have a clue as to what they are doing and its an absolute waste of time even if they are free.

I agree...CVS photos look AWFUL in comparison with the photos I have printed at home myself.

Put orders in 3 different CVS around my area to test them out. 1 store's pictures were so bad that all pictures look yellowish and the technician would not re-print them and said I had bad pictures and everything was automatic and nothing she could have done. The other stores' pactures were very good. I noticed that the bad picturs store had a very old machine while the other good ones had newer machines. So check out the store first before you send your orders.

There aren't any CVS stores around my area. Can I still get these free photos?

Down to 20 free photos at signup

"We are sorry, it appears you have encountered an error.".

This site is indeed full of bugs. So frustrated...

I'm glad these were free, the worst processing I've ever seen.
Will try a different CVS location next time.
The local Walgreen's and WalMart have done better.

I concur. CVS cropped my photos WAYYYY to much. That's the problem when computers, not humans, do the processing.

They need to have a print preview function!

Anyone know where to see how many prints you have left?

thank you

my pictures were horribly cropped so next time i was careful and edited each one just the way i wanted so that they don't crop off an important part. but the pictures were sharp and the color was terrific. some looked good enough to be calender prints.

I did try CVS photos few times.
I printed with different locations - the same result ALWFULL. I guess it is not their specialty.
