I placed my order on 2/7 and the latest 'expected' shipment date is 3/17. Typical Dell treatment.

My first order was place on 2/14 and was supposed to ship on 2/29. Now I got a cancellation letter saying the product is discontinued. I placed another order just now, and it's not gonna be shipped until 4/3. WTF! Dell is among the worst merchants I've ever met, and the single worst customer service. I wouldn't have dealt with them if I don't have the gift card. This won't happen again next time, even they have lower prices.

I just wonder that any of you guys did get this phone from Dell, I ordered one on 2/7 and waited to the 1st estimated shipping day on 2/24 and they delayed the order to 3/14... Then today, I got the email saying that the order was canceled because they are out of stock or lack of availability!!! I mean.. What kind of business is that? I've been waiting for weeks and they just told me that ill nver get my phone!!! I didnt know such a bad service existing at Dell, since my bro has a laptop from them for 2 yrs, and it was a decent one. I'm frustrated and shocked at the same time... Does any one experience the same situation? Any solution, I mean, im in love with this phone, Ive been watching this since last christmas...! Help. should i re-order one (apparently they still have the phone available on Dell.com)

Probably the price is too good to be true for the 8gb N95. Even pre-coupon is better from what I've seen so far. In case someone does happen to receive theirs from Dell, can you please check the sticker under the battery and tell what Type is it? Hopefully it's a "Type RM-321".

Mine was cancelled too, they didn't even bother sending me any emails. Dell really is the worst e-retailer there is, stay away from them. WTF do they still have the product on their website? Bunch of morons.

The N95 8GB is actually sold by a third-party merchant. I don't know why they are playing a trick like this--using a low price baiting for a bunch of orders and cancel them just before they have to ship it. I used to talk to a representative earlier this month about some specifications of the N95, and he was very rude and contumelious on the phone. Anyway I chatted with another representative online about the shipping issue yesterday. I said to him why do they still put the phone on the list if it'll be shipped a month later, shouldn't it be backordered at least? He said ship after 4 weeks is the same as backordered. Sigh~~~
Anyhow, I'd be interested to know if anyone has got the precious flagship ever.

Dont know who else ordered, but Dell has finally shipped my order!! They shipped the new US 3G version too! (instead of the European 3G model n95 8gb phone)

Why spend $500+ for the n95 when you can save up now and spend $700+ for the n96 later?
Mine is shipped too!!! US-3G version, which is not a too good news to me as I was planning to convert the firmware to Chinese version. US version usually has different firmware code than the European one. But it's still a great deal at $500s compared to $750 in Amaz0n or $640 at D3ll. Take a wild guess--are they gonna put the camera cover back this round...?
There's no way it can be down to $450, not even the non-8GB version. If it's real, why don't they sell it on amaz0n for $550--it'll be gone as soon as you can imagine...
And be aware that they don't even have a phone number. The only fax number is at Guangdong, China. I'm not personally against Chinese as I am myself, but the whole thing is suspicious enough to steer away from it.
