Same experience here. Very difficult to install the full kits without dust/bubbles. They are very tough, though. I was going to get the kit for the Nintendo DS Lite, but I can't imagine having any hair left by the time I got the kit installed halfway right... Great value at 50% off if you have the patience. xpfshost SilverB18C1 said:I'll echo a few comments here, the full kits for cell phones can be a pain to put on, but if you take your time they're worth it.
Be VERY careful when doing black/dark colored devices. I tried putting a full kit on a Motorola Q9c and no matter how careful I was, lint/dust/particles always found a way to get under the shield when being installed. I gave up and just returned the kit because I knew it would drive me insane. Also, I found that the glossy finish of the shield looked VERY tacky on the matte Q9c.
I also put a full kit on a Palm Centro which came out awesome. The Centro already had a glossy finish, so the kit truly did look invisible.
The screen protectors are DEFINITELY worth it at 50% off. |

xpfshost said:Very difficult to install the full kits without dust/bubbles. I totally agree. I felt these were particle/dust magnets compared to other protectors I have used. No matter how much I tried, particles kept getting under the film as I was trying to apply it. I was using lint free cloths and compressed air during installation, but to no avail. I also agree with other comments about these not being totally "invisible". While they seem more durable compared to other protectors, I do not like the clarity they provide. I have a Nokia E90, so the inner LCD is much larger compared to most smartphones, so the clarity issue really bugs me. Personally, I'd recommend using tweezers during the install. |

If you're getting lint stuck on the films, try using tape to lift it out. It worked pretty well for me when I put one on my DS. |

Good deal. But these are way over priced and even after 50% off prices still looks expensive. I used it on my Cingular 8525. It looked nice initially but after few days of use it just looked bad and I had to remove it from the device. Waste of money in my opinion. Others may have different view. Cheers |

i use 3m clear packaging tape already lying around my house. it's thinner, but still protects. and 100x cheaper and easier to remove if necessary apply a little rubbing alcohol to the tape, and squeegie out just the same. |

for people who bought this before: does the screen protector require you to use some kind of glue or adhesive? is it easy to get off if you damage it or don't like the way it looks? |

They usually provide a bottle of spray liquid to help make application easier. It's not an adhesive, though. The back of the film itself is tacky, so the spray helps you slide it around to get it into the right place...theoretically. I'm always paranoid about drops of it getting into the cracks (around buttons and keys). Don't know if anyone ever had damage from the spray. xpfshost tante said:for people who bought this before: does the screen protector require you to use some kind of glue or adhesive? is it easy to get off if you damage it or don't like the way it looks? |

If you're having trouble with dust during application, try doing it while in a steamy bathroom. Apply the shield while the doors are closed and you're running the hot water in the shower. I have an incredibly dusty house and it worked for me. I got the full body shield for the Zune 80 a while back and I'm generally happy with it. The appearance is definitely glossy with a slight "texture," and the touch is a bit sticky/tacky. I had a few small bubbles during the initial application, but they came out on their own after it dried off. I've thrown my Zune into my bag with keys, spare change, and other random pointy things and it still looks brand new. Application is annoying, but just remember to use their little spray bottle and spray EVERYTHING. Back of the shield, front of the shield, your hands, and carefully rub a little (within reason!) on the device if possible. And don't be stingy with the spray. When you run out, just refill it with some filtered/distilled water. |

Got this for my Razr 2 weeks ago and it really is awesome for when I put it in my purse or in my pockets with my keys. Definitely keeps it scratch free. Question: I want to get one for my ipod video. For those of you who have it for the video ipod, how many separate pieces are there? |

When you run out, just refill it with some filtered/distilled water. This is definitely true. When installing these it helps to use plenty of the spray both on the device itself and both sides of the protector because it will help the squeegee slide and get the air bubbles out. If you need more of the solution mix a couple drops of baby shampoo with water. This is a great product I put it on everything (well not everything but most electronics!) |

Bodyguardz is a better type of screen protector. I read an online review somewhere that bodyguardz was clearer and offered more protection. plus, for each package they include 2 sets of skins so its like getting 50%off at invisible shield. Check them out. |

I bought this for my iphone and was very pleased. They might have similar protectors for other devices as well. |

I actually just put the full body on my Blackberry 8830. It is fairly hard to apply as I still have some visible bubbles somehow. Even if I squeegee hard I was unsuccessful. Guess I didn't use enough of the liquid spray huh? Otherwise, the product does what it says it does. Take your time applying the shield. |

I personally have had good experiences with these "invisible" screen protectors, tho ive never used the invishield products. I got the best skin ever for my ipod and lg chocolate. The best skin ever, for the ipod classic, full body kit was only $8, and from what most ppl say the product is the same except the invishield comes with the liquid applicator in a bottle and BSE suggests using a mixture of water and baby shampoo. haha, sounds pretty ghetto i know, but its so much cheaper and i cant imagine the results being much different. This deal does sound good, im just saying there are other cheaper options to consider. good find OP |

Check them out. It's not like getting 50% off at IS. You're getting two of the same skin, which is pointless unless you either have two of the same device, or they scratch easily, in which case you have not gained anything in your savings, and possibly damaged your gadget too. |

The toughness of this screen protector had me sold. Have you seen the demo videos? Scratching the keys all over it, and trying to break it with a ballpoint pen...pretty good stuff. It also comes with a lifetime replacement warranty. It took me a good hour or so to apply them to a cell phone (full body), ipod nano (full body), 2 digi cams, and a gps. I had to cut the gps to size as it was too big. It's the only only one that had a piece of dust under it (missed it somehow). No air bubbles in any of them. The squeegee took care of most it. If it didn't, I took off the shield and re-applied. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. After the first install, it became pretty easy. Spray your fingers and the shield A LOT. Keep it damp until it is aligned correctly. Remove and re-spray if necessary. One spray bottle was plenty enough for the full body cell kit. I had enough left over to apply another shield. Apply in a dust free environment (like a room without carpet/rugs). Use a lint free cloth like instructed and clean it good. Patience is the key. |
