Yep, eSATA is where it's at with removable storage. Backups go much faster then USB and you can boot from eSATA!!

The MX-1 is a near perfect product. If you missed the deal it's still worthy of consideration at regular price.

You have to unplug the USB cable and just use the eSATA cable. Can't have both on at the same time.

Also, actually by accident, I left my 750 GB at SATA1 (150). I have Via chipset setups that do not recognize SATA2's.
