That's funny. When you click on the "larger image" button, it changes into a completely different fax.
Has anyone bought one of these refurbs before?
Wiil it come with ink?
I've got one that's out of ink, and $14 is worth it to get another cartridge.
Needed new fax,ordered with some FAR Software ,shipping for everything was less than $10.Thanks OP

anyone have luck with the rebate? they told me the upc I sent in was invalid and from the wrong product.... of course it wasn't. They refuse to tell me what UPC code they have on file for me and ask me to read it to them instead (and I didn't want to do that, because then they'll just say - "yeah, that's the one we have.. and it invalid"). It's ridiculous.
My rebate status indicates "Received, Submission is being processed" and my UPC # is 074000034006

My UPC is also 074000034006. I just submitted it this week, so I doubt it's been logged in the system yet. 
One more thing, it came with an inkjet cartridge. It also came with a piece of paper saying that the box did not include a thermal ribbon. I called Sharp since I didn't understand why it would have that piece of paper about the thermal ribbon when it was an inkjet machine. The Sharp rep said to ignore the paper. They put it in all refurbished machines both the inkjet and thermal ribbon machines.
I sent 2 faxes, and the people were happy with the quality. I won't put the inkjet cartridge in until I know I am going to receive a fax. I have 2 other inkjet fax machines. The HP still works after 5 years, and the Lexmark cartridge dried out after one year. It's cheaper to buy this machine than to buy a cartridge for the Lexmark. From what I read, this machine tends to have the cartridge dry out. Someone told me if that happens bang the cartridge on a table to loosen the clog.
