As for the Yankees, when they got rained out on Opening Day they mentioned that almost every home game has all tickets sold this season already, so exchanging rain checks for new tickets is going to be tough.

Eventually the club owners will ram through a new policy that if a game is rained out, too bad. No refunds and fans wishing to attend the makeup game will have to buy new tickets. I also expect the Yankees will lead the way with this change.
