I used Code - winterhome - and saved an additonal 10% on this fan. This code should work on other items as well.

Its a good deal.

But I think these are pretty lousy on power usage (someone please measure on a killawatt). You probably want a slightly large, slower moving fan for long term power usage. Something like this will cost far more in power usage than initial cash outlay.

E.g. if you run this thing for 50% of the time for a year and it uses 50w (assuming 15c/kWhr) it'd cost you ~$30 in power.

If you don't run it much then it doesn't matter. Fans tend to run a lot and last a long time, fwiw.

Likely just a discontinued model from their "vintage" lineup. Even a long running and reputable brand as Vornado has model changes from time to time.
