Haha...I got all excited thinking these were the MX-75s...and then I saw the picture and realized my mistake.
Thanks OP!
I have the previous version of these - the bright green ones. I like them for the most part. They do stay in place quite nicely thanks to the little extra nub on the top of each earbud.
My only complaint has been the wire - the wire they used is very stiff, and tends to get in my way more than any other headphones I've used. I'm quite tempted to get these and see if they've switched to a more flexible wire, because then they would be perfect for the gym and/or running.
Plus these aren't bright green, which may almost be worth $16 in and of itself.

Green is a weird choice of color for manufacturer - knowing this are highly visible product - ![]()
The MX75's are $29.99 linked. Any difference between the MX55's and MX75's besides color? Reviews seem to be for the MX75's instead of the MX55's.

Similarities - J cord instead of Y cord, good sound, twist to fit, various sized rubber pieces to adjust fit.
Differences - MX-75 has a clear durable rubber casing for the phones themselves while the 55 has a hard plastic / metallic casing. The MX-55 has a volume control whereas the 75 doesn't. The mx-55 comes with a nylon Velcro case while the 75 comes with a plastic case with a magnetic button for opening and closing. The 55 is grey and the 75 is green. The 75 comes with a clip for pinning the phones against your shirt, 55 doesn't. The 75 also seems to be slightly louder than the 55, although that might be because it's lacking the volume control.
That's all I can think of at the moment, but I do own both and they're both great headphones for the price.
MX55 has no volume control although it is not important for me. It has a very different sound than normal cheap headphone.

Ordered 2 pair...I'm not entirely happy with the JVC inner ear one's I use at the gym. They make a lot of noise if the cord is swung or bounces around. The 2nd pair I'll give to wife or son.
Thanks op
good reviews on headphones, but don't know that retailer...unless Im missing something. And that make me worry, not only cause might not get them, but they could be fakes. That is awefully cheap for those. Seems to good to be true.

Thanks! It looks like there's two models of the MX55's; Street ($16.99) and Street with volume control($26.79).

I'd watch out buying from these no name stores. There are a lot of counterfeit headphones sold on internet.

good point. this retailer has a lot of reviews and some of them are really bad. however, there were also many more that were very happy. i guess it's a YMMV, but my order was shipped today a few hours after i placed the order. that was what upset a lot of people was that they didn't get shipped right away.
it didn't occur to me that they might be counterfeit, i thought that they might be grey market, which is ok with me. the reason i wasn't too shocked is that this product in white is just as cheap on Amazon. click here to see them then click on "available from these merchants." it seems that people don't like the color white.
.
I don't know anything about that particular retailer,
but I purchased those exact same headphones from another retailer on Amazon for 17 + a few bucks shipping.
I don't know if the ones I got were fake, but they sucked. the rubber in-ear fittings would get loose and eventually fall out, it was hard to get a good seal with my ear to actually block out noise, and the cable was stiff and made a loud rubbing noise through the headphones whenever it touched anything.
Again, I have no idea if mine were fake, maybe the real one's are that crappy as well, but for what it's worth, I don't think the headphones I got were good at all.
$14.99 in GB / Lightning deals ![]()

$14.99 again
