The desktop looks about equivalent to some recent deals listed here on FatWallet. I'll look for some comparison information on the laptop.

The 1500 looks exactly like this configuration from a few days ago, if you missed it.
The desktop looks equivalent to recent deals. Don't know about the laptop.
Could you please include some information in the title and your original post. We shouldn't have to click on the link to figure out what the deal is for ourselves. This is something you should have picked up over the last three years on FW...

I took advantage of this the last time Dell ran this deal. It's a good laptop, handles Vista Home Premium well. No bells and whistles which is what I wanted. I don't run any heavy apps so it works well for what I am doing at home and for work. It is a heavy bugger so if you are planning on traveling alot with it you might consider something lighter.
Okay, is this working still? When I click the link I get a page showing the two deals and links for "shop all laptops" and "shop all desktops" that brings me to an empty "You are at USA > Laptops" page. When I go straight into the Dell site I'm not seeing either of these deals.

I just updated the link again. I'll check to see if there's a configuration code for the base systems .. hopefully before Dell changes it again.
Also entered links for the individual configurations.
