Fifty bucks is about 30-40 below what they have been going for retail, they were $150 on release. Reviews are uniformly good. It has a rechargable battery and remote. It has a jack for plugging in devices other than an Ipod.

The member below (me) reports Amazon will knock off another $15 at checkout to bring it to $35, see below. (I verified this myself and that is why I am posting this deal here on FW.)

White one is OOS on Buy.com as of 4/24/08 11:00 AM EST, but still available at Amazon for $95.49 - $15 instant discount - $30 rebate = $50.

Nice post...I was checking out Ipod speakers for my wife recently and found the Pure Fi to be top rated.

ilounge review was an A for folks who don't hand out many A's.

After rebate comes out to $34.77. And to think I almost bought it last week for $79.

This is a great price...I use the previous version of this product (mm50) and it works great. Cost $80 a couple years ago.

Are there ANY differences between the 50mm and this one. I JUST bought the mm50 3 weeks ago (fatwallet deal also) and am wondering... Looks like the remote is different...

Yes and no. It is not GSM shielded so the iPhone will give you a message stating this accessory is not designed for the iPhone but you will get audio.

OP, just pulled this deal myself, green for you. A suggession, kindly add "ipod" in the title. When I was searching for deals on Ipod speakers, this one didnt show up
