Anyone have any experience using the gift card to pay for the subscription if you are adding a second radio? I am hoping that I can add this radio to my account and use the $30 gift card to pay for 4 months of service ($6.95/month).

I've used GCs several times to pay for service... just load them in on your account, and they apply against your balance.

Can you activate and then cancel thin in 1 month?? Just looking for a spare and another antenna for free! And then $23 left on my account as this would be #2.
This deal rocks the house! Made a bunch of gifts out of these. If you call you can usually get the activation fee waived, so you're looking at a radio with 3-6 months (depending on whether you score $6.95 or the full $12.95/mo with your social skills) of service using the gift cards and and less than $10 cash.
