Staples has a link to a 22nd Anniversary flier under Specials->Pre-Anniversary Savings. It has the price for the 2600N as 149.98 on page 2 of the flier.

I called Staples to ask what to do to get the 164.98 adjusted to 149.98. I started the order, added a $30 off $150 coupon, checked out, and gave the Rep my order number to do a $15 price adjustment.

Ha! I can't believe it! They said that because of the online screw up, and all the hassle, they're giving me a $50 adjustment instead!

I love Staples! Easy Rebates! Flea Bay coupons! And now bonus price adjustments!

Now off to Staples to try to get the $50 trade in discount.

Better than printing a page, open Internet Explorer (or your favority web browser) and navigate to the IP address for the printer (you did connect the printer using the Network Port right?). You can get all of the information from settings to supplies status all through the IP address.

Yes, but I have a DN series printer. They need a new drum at 25,000 pages. If you buy a refurb, you can check the number of pages from printing a status page.

Placed my online order at the store @ 8:45pm, 5/2. By the time I got home and checked the web site @ 9:15, it showed OOS. Just now tracked my order, and it is still in 'available' status. Hope I get it - we shall see!

The refurbs were only available through 5/3 (pending inventory availability). The trade-in program was also only good through 5/3. Sorry to report the bad news.

remember if these are warranted, and your drum is scratched or your cartridge is leaking they will replace it if you spend more than 30 minutes.

i had a cartridge that was 99% empty and it was leaking powder out and they had to replace it with a brand new one. then another color cartridge leaked when it was near empty and they replaced it.

odd. cost them alot of money they overnighted the new carts and paid to have the old ones sent back. at over $60 each plus time and shipping i have to say the lost money on that leg of the deal.

Finally got the time to install mine today. It's a little bigger than I realized when ordering, but I'm very happy with it either way. Anyone have a Kill-A-Watt and know how much juice this thing takes up when it's just waiting? I print very infrequently and I want to know if it's worth it to leave this thing on 24/7 or if I should walk over and turn it on when I'm printing.

the printer is energy star qualified and will go into energy conserve mode when it is not printing. from the manual it says that during standby 16w, down from peak 190w during print.

that was my question also. but most people here seemed to prefer buying multiple units of this printer just for the toners.

We've been using this quite a bit so I suspect that there's some new toner in my future.

Still haven't found any good deals on refills or generics. Anyone have any luck sourcing toner?

BTW- Really like this printer!
