Staples has a link to a 22nd Anniversary flier under Specials->Pre-Anniversary Savings. It has the price for the 2600N as 149.98 on page 2 of the flier. I called Staples to ask what to do to get the 164.98 adjusted to 149.98. I started the order, added a $30 off $150 coupon, checked out, and gave the Rep my order number to do a $15 price adjustment. Ha! I can't believe it! They said that because of the online screw up, and all the hassle, they're giving me a $50 adjustment instead! I love Staples! Easy Rebates! Flea Bay coupons! And now bonus price adjustments! Now off to Staples to try to get the $50 trade in discount. |

Thanks for that link - looks like another call is in order. BTW I went for a 2nd one today. I have no old printers, so for myu first unit I bought one at a thrift store for $5, but it was the last one they had. So I was on my way to another thrift store, several miles away. On the road what should I see? Well, another tossed HP printer! Pull over, pick it up, get a srewdriver out of the trunk and rip out the 2 ink wells. Get to Staples and they look online to order the 2600n, it's there but w/o the $15 instant coupon. They give me the $50 trade-in, but they won't accept my $25 off $75 coupon (arrived in mail). I figure even at $119 this is a good deal. But when I get home I figure I might as well see if 800 can do anything, and sure enough they took the coupon info and credit me back $25. Played with the printer tonight, very happy with the results. Photos for reports look just fine, an for "photo" prints I go to Costco, so this is great for our home businesses. Thanks OP and others! buybuydandavis said:Staples has a link to a 22nd Anniversary flier under Specials->Pre-Anniversary Savings. It has the price for the 2600N as 149.98 on page 2 of the flier.

Better than printing a page, open Internet Explorer (or your favority web browser) and navigate to the IP address for the printer (you did connect the printer using the Network Port right?). You can get all of the information from settings to supplies status all through the IP address. |

Showing as out of stock now. Everyone better track their orders. I verified that my last two units are already in the hands of UPS close to delivery (ordered evening of 5/1). Good luck all! |

anyone looking to get toner should also jump on this deal. Toner alone is worth more than this deal. Yes, but I have a DN series printer. They need a new drum at 25,000 pages. If you buy a refurb, you can check the number of pages from printing a status page. |

Yes, but I have a DN series printer. They need a new drum at 25,000 pages. If you buy a refurb, you can check the number of pages from printing a status page. DN is not a series but rather a summary of printer properties. The "D" stands for "Duplexer" which means the printer will do double-sided printing. The "N" stands for "Networked" which means the printer has a network port built into the unit. |

Placed my online order at the store @ 8:45pm, 5/2. By the time I got home and checked the web site @ 9:15, it showed OOS. Just now tracked my order, and it is still in 'available' status. Hope I get it - we shall see! bollingerr said:Showing as out of stock now. Everyone better track their orders. remember if these are warranted, and your drum is scratched or your cartridge is leaking they will replace it if you spend more than 30 minutes. i had a cartridge that was 99% empty and it was leaking powder out and they had to replace it with a brand new one. then another color cartridge leaked when it was near empty and they replaced it. odd. cost them alot of money they overnighted the new carts and paid to have the old ones sent back. at over $60 each plus time and shipping i have to say the lost money on that leg of the deal. |

Mine arrived quickly. Looks like it isn't a refurb I don't see anything on the box or enclosed literature with the "R" word. |

Finally got the time to install mine today. It's a little bigger than I realized when ordering, but I'm very happy with it either way. Anyone have a Kill-A-Watt and know how much juice this thing takes up when it's just waiting? I print very infrequently and I want to know if it's worth it to leave this thing on 24/7 or if I should walk over and turn it on when I'm printing. |

any body found cheep toner yet??? that was my question also. but most people here seemed to prefer buying multiple units of this printer just for the toners. |

any body found cheep toner yet??? We've been using this quite a bit so I suspect that there's some new toner in my future. Still haven't found any good deals on refills or generics. Anyone have any luck sourcing toner? BTW- Really like this printer! |
