I know there is a Best Buy clearance thread but I thought this deal was worthy of its' own post.
My local BB has the AM6 III Bose speakers for $139.99 down from $699. Here's the link from the BB website.....
I bought both sets that were available NIB. This was in Topeka, KS.

There was an "official" looking tag so I think it was a clearance item and not just an in-store markdown.
this isn't a deal. Bose royally sucks A$$ and is overpriced hype junk just like Monster Cables. Any decent audiophile will give 100 reasons why Bose is a total joke and waste of money but they sure do have marketing power. That Wave radio is the crappiest piece of royal Sh*t i've ever listened to. I would rather listen to my dog singing while someone is shoving hot needles in my ear lobes then listen to anything by Bose.

Please use your brain. The cure to being overpriced is, of course, to be 80% off; amazingly enough, your useless rant ignores the entire point of this post...the cheap price. Get over your blind hatred of Bose, and learn to evaluate deals based on the price presented.
Finally, appropriately priced Bose speakers! 
Might have to check and see if I can find a set. These would make a pretty sweet Mother's Day present.

And who would not buy these at this price knowing the profit they can make on resale? Remove those hot needles out of your ear lobes and use your head for a change.
Oh no, another BB clearance deal. Once again we get to see which stores BB considers "low income" by how low of a price they mark the item at. Or at least what stores are low performers? Or by how much inventory remains of the clearance item?
Those are my "shots in the dark," as I really don't know what is true. I'd love to know what factors BB actually bases their clearance pricing on, since the prices vary by large percentages at different stores in the same area.

I'm not a fan of Bose.
But, the price is right....$139 for Bose AM6 whole set !!! Will check it out this morning.
Having inherited, used for a while, and then sold an Acoustimass 7 series setup some time ago I can say that the audiophiliacs here are actually on target -sort of. They actually sound OK if:
- You have a very powerful amp that provides good current even at low or medium volume.
- You like to play all your music at ear-shattering volume levels.
If the above are both true for you then you actually even get OK highs, but just OK. Like I said, I inherited a set and eventually sold them.
the detford nj has it for $139.99 but is too far of a ride for me.
if you can find one and bring your receipt there you can get the
difference back. none of the stores in philly or nj have it for
the same price as detford store.

Green for OP. Too bad the WB online stock checker is crap. In addition to the fact that WB stores within the same region will have totally different pricing; remember the HK AVR-347 thread.
