some people prefer the wired version of the controller, but unfortunately it is only available for PS2. they are saying that the new wireless controller for PS3 has some lagging issues.
any comment on this before i'm in for one?

I'm not sure about lagging issues, but I hear the wireless controller for PS3 is not compatible with Rock Band, which can be annoying.
