I agree, but I think certain items, like a FAR PCI-e video card, are worthy of their own thread.

I wish OP's would get in the habit of posting the rebate link in the OP. How many times do people ask for the rebate form a week after the deal is over and the link is gone from the product page? I wish those people would print the rebate form when they ordered, but at least posting the link in the OP would stop those form begging posts.

No. The GMA950 is already a fairly capable IGP.

Geez, this Fry's 1 day sale is killin me, as they always do. Just got back with 5 bags of $895 worth of stuff (most FAR) which after rebate will be about $200, including a huge Canon MF6530 duplex laser copier ($99 AR).

I like this new dealio where you don't have to wait 30 mins for the cashier to find, collect, and/or print out all your rebates....they just give you a rebate receipt that has a link to the rebate. Hopefully it works.

If you jumped in on the eVGA 6200 AGP 8X FAR $45 rebate deal from last week, the promotion #'s are identical to the 7200GS deal, the promotion # are both 08-13833.

Since the rebate specifies one rebate per household, you can only pick one of the two to submit for rebate, the other one will be invalid.

The rebate form I just now pulled off of the 7200GS product page says the same. That "or" means that you can read this as "Limit one rebate per address". Not sure where you're seeing the "per..per..per" verbage. Can you please post a link. I already submitted a rebate for the 6200, so I'm out on this one, unless you can link to the form with the alternate wording.

Parago can look up the rebate and tell you what the actual maximum is, either # of submissions or dollar amount.
I just got off the phone with parago. The rep confirmed that a person can get one rebate for each product on the list. So I will keep my order alive in the back order status.

I also checked offer number 08-15003, $50 for NAV dvd case w/ any hardware. This one has a household limit of 3. The products have to be on same receipt.

I don't know if it's as good as this one, but they also have the GF 7300GS PCI-E 256 Graphic Card for $4.99 AR ($49.99 - $45). And it's in stock.

The description says "These video cards have passed rigorous testing and take full advantage of all of the features and capabilities of Microsoft Windows XP.", makes me think it's an older card. I went with the other card since FAR also, this one is $5.00 after rebate (plus tax).

Both cards are old. I suppose the 7300gs might be slightly faster, but I am only buying it as a pci-e backup/tester, I really don't care.

Two reasons to get this over onboard:

1. Frees 256M of RAM (turn off turbocache with Rivatuner) Which imho smooths gameplay as it doesn't slow for texture transfers. SEEMS to be smoother TO ME with it off.
2. Can overclock with Rivatuner. In a CM690, the side mount case blows right on the heatsink, so it's notreally passive. Runs WoW so far fine at 610/715 set where stock is 450/533. It's a BIG gain.

That said, I'd get the 7300GS if the price is close as it has twice as many pixel pipelines.

I have the 7050 even and this is much faster. You can even get decent WoW rates by dialing the distance down a bit WITH 2x 24bit FSAA on and running at 1440x900 res. 20something fps roughly with decent eyecandy on and overclocked. YMMV.
