If I already have a 6200 is there any reason to get this? i got the 6200 LE a few weeks back and am wondering the same thing. how is the chart read? are cards higher on the list better than cards lower on this list? |

Two reasons to get this over onboard: 1. Frees 256M of RAM (turn off turbocache with Rivatuner) Which imho smooths gameplay as it doesn't slow for texture transfers. SEEMS to be smoother TO ME with it off. 2. Can overclock with Rivatuner. In a CM690, the side mount case blows right on the heatsink, so it's notreally passive. Runs WoW so far fine at 610/715 set where stock is 450/533. It's a BIG gain. That said, I'd get the 7300GS if the price is close as it has twice as many pixel pipelines. I have the 7050 even and this is much faster. You can even get decent WoW rates by dialing the distance down a bit WITH 2x 24bit FSAA on and running at 1440x900 res. 20something fps roughly with decent eyecandy on and overclocked. YMMV. |
