Be Aware!!! If you jumped in on the eVGA 6200 AGP 8X FAR $45 rebate deal from last week, the promotion #'s are identical to the 7200GS deal, the promotion # are both 08-13833. Since the rebate specifies one rebate per household, you can only pick one of the two to submit for rebate, the other one will be invalid. Link to 6200 Rebate Form |

Cant speak for MB, but my local store had plenty of everything. Nothing is sold out as of 4:00PM.
Even for Fry's, the Manhattan Beach store is unique. They normally don't care large appliances, and they have a koi pond in an outside area in the center of the building. They also have the worst customer service of all the SoCal locations. Burbank ftw. |

Got the Q6600, motherboard and 4GB memory for $295 w/ tax (before $40 rebate)
Awesome deal. Just upgraded my old computer and now look at me. I'm lightening fast!!
Sorry to rain on your parade but your FW posts still shows up at the same speed as everybody else. It's a good thing you can be decoding on one core, encoding on another, browse the web one the third and have the 4th play an MP3 and run the rest of your background threads, they just do them equally fast at the same time, 2.6GHz is still 2.6GHz and there is no speed up, just the perception from the absence of slow downs. I'm sure my Matlab can utilize multiple cores, thanks for your concern! It's 2.4GHz BTW. upgraded from Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (2.0GHz @ 2.5GHz) Rainbow Six Vegas 2 feels alot faster although I didn't even overclock this guy. (There's no menu for overclocking! Cheap board) |

I got the 7200, Tyris monitor, ($98 AR Plus a free printer!), a Zen V ($28 refurb), antec solo, $10 psu, 2 hotdogs, 2 cokes, and ALL THE COKE CODES from the empty boxes. I swear I got enough for a first class plane ticket somewhere. HUGE stack. |

Went to the Portland (Wilsonville) Frys. It turns out that this Frys B&M does not have the same one-day sale. Several of the free items did not turn out to be free. I was really surprised to find out about that when checking out. Upon verifying it with their flyer, several items that are free elsewhere indeed are not in the flyer for this particular store. They do have one-day sale, just not an identical one-day sale comparing to others. Is that normal? |

The Saturday one for Seattle should be up by midnight here PDT. Hotest item for me on the SoCal ad is the Antec NSK 4480. It's been cheaper before with a MIR, but for $45 + tax OTD, it's HOT. It comes with the Antec 380W Earthwatts PS which in itself is worth almost the $45 (VERY stable voltages; great for budget OC'ing!) The case itself is gravy. I need two more of those cases but saw that it's Limit 1. Cheers, Eemrek EDIT: Just noticed the AirLink Wireless-N router is $19.99, a stick of 1GB DDR-400 (PC3200) is $24.99. Hyper TX CPU fan is $12 after MIR. C2D E4500 bundle with ECS 945GCT-M/1333 is $97.99... FX5200 is FAR (great for a MythTV front-end build!) ... HOT! |
