I applied for my card in June and got 5,000 miles from my previous statements. For the most recent billing cycle, no bonus miles are showned on my statement. I have e-mailed about it but no reply yet.

their reply: "Because this is a special Miles offer and is not part of your regular Miles calculation it takes some additional time for processing. Please allow five weeks from the time the charge appears on your statement for this award to be added to your Miles Account."

Doesn't make much sense when they can credited 5000 miles from previous billing cycles without "additional time for processing".

For my Dec statement, I got 1000 bonus miles. As long as I get 10,000 mils for the 12 months, I will be OK with it since all I need is 10k for the bonus $50 check.

Have been trying since Sept to get my gps. Anyone else having problems

Just wanted to say I used this unit on vacation and it was excellent. Great directions. Easily found points of interest including sightseeing points. Easy to use. For a basic GPS it was just great.

Received my 270 today . Used the card about 2 weeks ago, got the emailed it was being shipped and came 3 days after that email.

Received my card back in November. Just got around to using it this past weekend. I received two GPS's today. Insane. I really wasn't even expecting them because I kept forgetting to buy something (been carrying them in my wallet for months). As others have noted, they upgraded them automatically to Nuvi 270s. I already have a nuvi 750(fm transmitter, spoken street names). Great line of GPS's. I'm beginning to like Discover almost as much as American Express.

More information on the offer: My wife and I already had two discover cards. This is our first 'miles' card. Used the same address, both arrived today. Posting in case anyone else out there forgot to use their cards or assumed they had waited too long (like me). Use the card. Deal is still alive if you have the card.
