I will forward this to discover in case of problem... the big big big big big big issue I see is the quanties limited...he could just have twenty...and get thousand of applications.. or I never see it all... I guess we know later...if i dont get it....the card and my scissors have a date. I HAVE SENT EMAIL TO DISCOVER..IF THIS IS FALSE..DO NOT ACTIVATE YOUR CARD..THATS HOW HE WOULD GET PAID...ONLY BY ACTIVATED CARDS.. not to be negative..but it sounds too good to be true.. |

not to be negative...but 170 gps for free...sounds too too good. I trust FW. I hope they will not entertain false ads. if so, the negative impact will be more for FW. Even though we can not make FW responsible for this, I bet they do not want to have a negative publicity. if it was on some other site (aka s____D etc.) I wouldn't have applied. |

not to be negative..but it sounds too good to be true.. Dude, you know what the big issue is? People getting cards just because theres a freebie attached, I mean they had you hooked on to this from the day you turned 18 and went to college, I mean who did not fall pray to the card companies coming on campus and handing out everything from T-shirts to MP3 players to calculators just to make you get their card. The entire economy is going to the dogs because of the short term gain policies adopted by these people, and because us getting caught up into it again and again. That said, I also did apply for this card and yes the top reason for that was the freebie, but I was wanting to get a discover card for about 6 months now anyways (Its the only card my Sam's club accepts). So if it happenes that I did not get the GPS I will be irritated too, but will not go on to cancel the card, atleast not for the initial ZERO APR period. By applying for a card your credit history has got a "hit" (not that it must affect your score adversely), but if you go forth with cancelling the card and then re-applying for something else, that will cause another hit, and will affect your credit score. So I would suggest everyone to take it easy, sip on a cold one (if that helps) and do what you think is rational thing to do and that is of your advantage, because remember, you cannot un-apply the credit card application, GPS or No GPS. |

I would not be bragging. If that scenario turns out to be the case then it is the system that knew how to work you! Not only did you not get the promised GPS, but you also wasted a good application incentive opportunity that you could have use with another card offer and also gave Discover a legal means to circumvent the national do not call list and sell your contact information to their sponsored offer partners . |

I thought it was kind of funny that FW staff posted: we have no telephone number for mydigitaloffers.com, but here is an email address for them. So with a FW AD it is basically show us the money. The reply you've referenced was our attempt to help as we were learning about the offer ourselves, prior to the advertisement being posted. At that time, we learned that mydigitaloffers does not have a customer service phone number available. They did however provide us with an email address for customer inquiries, which we posted in an effort to help users with questions. |

My bad, you are correct the FW AD for mydigitaloffers was posted a few weeks after the thread began that I referenced above. I still think if FW took an AD from them that we could get some guidance as to the legitimacy of them fulfilling the offer, because of the "while supplies last" caveot,, especially since many members that took advantage of the offer have the same concerns. Just my opinion. |

So... since we got your attention (Fatwallet Advertisment Staff).. can you please confirm that if we follow all the steps as advertised, we can expect to get to GPS? Plus there isn't any loopholes that can prevent us from getting it? |

Plus there isn't any loopholes that can prevent us from getting it? We have been informed that customers will receive their GPS upon approval and activation of their Miles Card by Discover Card as mentioned in the OP. We have outlined the required steps as provided by the advertser, and have every reason to believe the offer is legitimate. As noted in previous member replies, some customers have already received their digital cameras from the similar offer by mydigitaloffers.com. We've also recently inquired with the advertiser as to how the 'while supplies last' limit will be handled. We will share more information when it becomes available.
Update: We've received more information from the advertiser about product availability and the reward fullfillment process. This is from their terms and conditions page, which can be seen here. The following information has also been added to the OP.
Reward Fullfillment Process: In order to qualify for your reward you must: -Register and submit your contact information to mygpsoffer.com. -Apply for a Miles by Discover credit card though the link provided on mygpsoffer.com in the same browser session with the same contact information. -In addition to applying for the credit card, you must be approved and activate the Discover credit card. Activation is defined as making a purchase, balance transfer or cash advance with this credit card. Due to the rapid pace of changes in consumer electronics, product availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to update and replace the current offer with a reasonably equivalent product or model of equal or greater value based on product availability. Estimated shipping time is 6-10 weeks after credit card activation. There are no returns or exchanges 30 days after receipt of the product. If you require a return or exchange past 30 days, please contact the manufacturer. |
