aw! look beyond the long lines, it gets better!... picture the face of the dude standing there from 4:01:00am and just happens to miss the 9:00:00am cut off! - he would have spend ~30 mins navigating his way to the back of the queue in the wee hours of the morning, losing sleep, 3 hrs of inching his way to the front of the queue burning gallons of gas in the process, (in all ~5 hrs waiting) and then go home empty handed only to hear his other half say - "I told you so" |
There are easier ways of making $40 than waking up at 3 and waiting in the line for several hours |
They had that here in Vegas and showed it on the TV - hundreds of cars in line. The $35 saved was probably spent turning the car on and off for hours and on the wasted hours sitting there. Not worth it for me. |
I'm investing my stimulus check in Krispy Kremes & Starbucks to sell to those waiting in line.

Just make sure to fill up your tank before you get in line. It would be a bummer to miss out on free gas just because you ran out of gas. |
They did this around here also, the police shut the place down shortly after it started because of the traffic jam it caused. Reminded me of the gas shortage days from the 70s, electric cars people. |

I got free gas courtesy of KROQ and Shell one time when I was in college. I skipped class to wait in line for an hour. Then I made them pump Super Unleaded in my '86 Tercel. |
