I think you misinterpreted what I was saying. This is one of the lowest prices I've seen, whether it be B&M or online. H-E-B Plus does not sell stuff online. It is a B&M deal only.
Which location? I called the one near me and they said it's $499. Maybe this was just for one store?
There was one in stock in Mission, TX. The display unit shows $500, but the price of the camera in the glass case shows $375. The price in the system rings up as $500, but a persuasive person might be able to convince them to bring it down. As good of a deal as this might be at regular retail prices, it's just not enough for me. I really want this camera, but I want it for a steal. The hunt goes on for me, but maybe someone in the RGV can use this heads-up.

Good all around camera and very sturdy. If you do a lot of motion shots you might want to invest in a Fuji F30/F31 instead. If you're poor, the A710/720 are essentially stripped down versions of G series. Check out reviews as those might meet your needs also.
