In for the games, and the McAfee Total Protection, thanks OP.

Keeping these to use as fillers. Thanks OP.

The VirusScan Plus is an upgrade rebate as well. Started 9/1/07.

Hot Deal! Thanks

If you use comcast cable for internet, the McAfee is free.

Thanks OP! What do they mean by "academic offers"? I'm going to school and all I can provide is a printout of the schools webpage where I can download McAfee. Does anyone know if this would work?

with proof of previous ownership of a retail (boxed or downloaded), stand-alone version of any McAfee software product or any Norton® software, Computer Associates, Trend Micro, WebRoot or any other comparable security product CD, diskette1, title page of manual, or your auction purchases, or academic offers.

nice find op!

Be sure that you haven't already done McAfee Total Protection 2008 - 3 User as the rebate dates back to last fall and has a limit of one.

Thanks! In for the Chronicles and the Revue (got in on the revue right before it sold out!)

It most likely means that if you bought it or another security program at an academic price, it's still eligible as proof.

Still offered, just need to look to your right in the "More Buying Choices" and u should see Amazon.

in for the game. Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee is always great.

Also noticed this FAR:

Windows Live OneCare 2.0 ----> linky

Thanks OP!

In for Clancy's Chronicles

Just wanted to add that if you buy 2 different McAffee products, the upgrade rebates can be used against each other. For example, Internet Security Suite 2008 can be used to get the rebate for Total Protection 2008, and vice-versa.

Thanks OP.

The Clancy set is great if you never tried any of the games. Sells most places for around $20 right now. FAR---better!

The better than free AR price shown for McAfee Internet Security Suite 2008 - 3 User is misleading on their website.

Does anyone know if any or both of the following work with Vista 64 bit?:

1. Tom Clancy's Chronicles (Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six 3)

2. Smith Micro Revue

Thanks!

got the game, TP and IS for -$3.5 after MIR.

I never do the upgrade before, do I have to sent in the cd or just make a photo copy of it. Thank you.

"Rebate amount paid to customer for single or combined rebate offers may not exceed the purchase price of the McAfee product."

"... furnishing the original product CD, diskette1, title page of manual ..."

I would just send in the title page of manual.

Anyone knows if Windows Live OneCare qualifies as "any other comparable security product" for the McAfee rebates?

Although many people would disagree, yes it is a 'comparable security product'.

Thanks. I ordered game and Windows live because have used up all of Mcafee upgrade rebates.

Thanks OP.
In for McAfee Total Protection 2008.

Very good find, thanks so much to OP!!

Nice catch! Thanks alot, OP . . .

What a good finding.
But don't have upgrade requirement for anti-virus
Thanks anyway.

Thank you, OP.
Just ordered McAfee Total Protection 2008.
Green for you!

Tom Clancy chronicles now $10 AR

It looks like the game deal is dead. $20 - $10 rebate = NOT free.

AmericanBulldog said: BgdmXd said: Anyone knows if Windows Live OneCare qualifies as "any other comparable security product" for the McAfee rebates?Although many people would disagree, yes it is a 'comparable security product'.Yes but the question is whether the rebate house would, and I don't think that Microsoft is on their list of qualifying manufacturers.

If anyone would like to send me the Tom Clancy stuff for free just PM me. Thanks.
