Thanks. Just a noob question, will my browser (FF) continue to be as secure in the iPhone mode?

Susie

Well, I don't know ... The System Requirements list includes:
Computer Configuration
* Pentium V (or more powerful) processor

I don't have one of those ... yet ...

Looks like iPhone and desktop PCs/Macs only, right? I don't see any way to use this on a phone running Windows Mobile...

Been playing around with it on the iphone.
Very readable, looks exactly like the magazine, alebit smaller.
Pretty decent speed loading pages(photo heavy), even on edge.
Nice interface.

This might work?
Iris Browser for Windows mobile 5/6

What makes the Iris browser different is that it's based on WebKit, the same rendering engine used in the Safari web browser for Windows, Mac, and iPhone. That means that pretty much any web page that you can view in Safari should be accessible using the Iris browser.

Only if it has a develop menu like safari does. With this option:
"Click on the Develop Menu, scroll down to User Agent, and Select Mobile Safari 1.1.3 - iPhone"

This is kewl! It works on my iTouch as well, doesn't have to actually be an iPhone. You can't scan through the pages cuz they're too small, but if you click on the table of contents to bring up an article, you can zoom in and out just like any other iTouch/iPhone browser page.

Thanks!

These seem to be single issues, not subscriptions.

No, he does not mean the HTC Touch, he means the Apple iTouch which is a version of the iPhone that does not have phone functionality, its basically a MP3 player with Wifi and a browser etc.

I'm now reading the magazines on the Safari Browser. It's working so well. Now I don't have to pay a dime for those magazines. Thanks a lot!

Getting fired when your company discovers you've been surfing for porn during work hours on their equipment -- priceless?

Fully working now with two instances of FF to view Fatwallet (normal) and mag site in the same time. See below update.

LilBo said:You can actually access those magazines with Firefox:

Here is what I did with FF:
user FF's profile manager (Run "firefox.exe -ProfileManager"), create another profile called iphone, uncheck "Don't ask at startup", choose start the new/balnk "iphone" profile, and do the trick provide from that link.

Now I have a regular profile without the useragent override and the iphone profile with the useragent override. So I can switch between normal website (such as FW) and iphone site (such as Zinio) without setting that long string every time.

Edit to add:
Seems still one small flaw: I can not start the normal profile to post at FW and the iphone profile to read mag at the same time. Any body knows a workaround?

Edit to "Edit to add" to address the above issue:
Use the -no-remote switch when launch the iphone page to invoke its own profile, such as:
firefox.exe -no-remote -p iPhone

Also, this makes uncheck the "Don't ask at startup" unnecessary, so you can start your default profile at all normal use with ease.
