What am I am doing wrong? This site is getting crushed due to this user agent trick -- a lot of sites are talking about this work-around. I'm not surprised people are having trouble with it... |

The site comes up there is just no link to magazines. I can click on the main zino page but all you get is free short page previews not entire magazines. |

After you change to iphone in the safari developer window, then type in www.Zinio.com/iphone into the safari browser manually and the magazine icons will show up. |

I discovered this a few weeks ago. It's a great selection. Just realize that these are issues from about two months ago so they aren't the latest. But for free, this is a hot deal for sure. |

Is there a way to view older issues of the magazines? |

Here's what I did to make it work on FF. First off, I added the add-on called User Agent Switcher. Get it here. Restart FF, go to Tools/User Agent Switcher/Options/Options. Add a new User Agent. Under Description use "iPhone", under Agent, use "Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419 (United States)" Do not include the quotes. Then when you want to visit the link, just switch your user agent to the iPhone mode and switch back when you're doing your normal browsing. |

Here's a tip to browse the pages faster (using FF): - After selecting a mag, click a page where you want to start reading - Click the right arrow (from the top or bottom, doesn't matter) with the mouse once - Use the 'Enter' key to turn the pages - Use the page up/down keys to scroll the page To go to the previous page, press Shift+Tab then Enter. Press Tab to position it back to the right arrow. Reading these are much faster on FF than on iPhone, even with wifi. |

geez download lag while browsing Playboy on Edge reminds me of the days 10 years ago when we used to sit & stare at an analog screen, waiting for quite a few mins for a Photo to appear on the screen using a 13.3 K modem connection ............. |

Agreed. This is slow even on wired broadband. It must be downright painful on an actual iPhone. |

Thanks OP. This is great. It pops up pretty quickly on edge, but after a few pages kills the browser. I'd rather browse magazines on a desktop anyway though. |
